The Stables in Borris is a real gem. Breda was very personable and helpful. she had cooked a beautiful brown loaf and a bucket of scones for us as a welcome. the flat was very well appointed, very clean and homely. the horses as our neighbours were a lovely bonus and the views over the blackstairs mountains fabulous. great base for Waterford, new Ross and Wexford. thank you

For peace and quiet The Stables is the place for you. Breda very friendly and helpful. Has 4 beautiful lurchers. Views amazing. Good location to lots of towns.

Breda and Joe were the perfect hosts! We felt incredibly comfortable and at home. The Stable is at the very end of the road very secluded on a farm with horses and cows and it was wonderful! The flat was clean and Breda was waiting for us with homemade bread and scones. Although we arrived super late in the evening she was still awake and made us feel welcome and gave us tips for the surrounding area. We had a fantastic stay at her Stables and would heartily recommend it to everyone who’s searching for a Ireland countryside experience!

Our stay at Breda's cottage in the middle of Ireland's lovely landscape was excellent. We were warmly greeted with freshly baked bread and scones and introduced to our home and the surrounding villages. Breda also suggested activities, sightseeing spots and restaurants, which all turned out to be really great. The cottage itself has a rustic charme and was clean and cozy. Definitely would recommend.
