The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The location is incredible, just a block from the beach and next to mission beach park. The apartment is well stocked, you have everything you need, and very cute and charming.

I ended up staying here for 3 months -- I kept extending, because it was so peaceful, walkable, and a quick drive to everything. I'm a light sleeper so I was initially concerned about the noise from Mission Blvd traffic, but it was fine in the winter. Have A/C and many fans. I slept thru the NYE fireworks. When cloud cover is low, you will hear the morning planes, but that's true for all of coastal San Diego, up to the south side of Mt. Soledad. I was recovering from surgery, and my friends who took the 2nd bedroom/bathroom were comfortable. The location has great access to both the bay and ocean boardwalks for walking. Lifeguards do patrol in the winter, so you can swim but like all of San Diego, be aware of rip tides. Gym nearby. The kitchen/bathroom supplies well stocked and good beach gear. Parking in the garage was good, once I got the hang of the angle. Laundry is 1st floor, but many pay laundromats are nearby if you don't want to wash sheets and towels on your vacation.

Darrell was extremely friendly and made the check in process a breeze. Throughout our stay he was very responsive. You cannot beat this location. Beach = one block west, bay = one block east. Perfect location for a vacation or little escape. You get what you see in the pictures. I ended up extending my stay another week!

Just got back from 1 months stay in this lovely apartment. Both Darrell and Adam was extremely responsive (always within minutes) which was really amazing. Lots of good recommendations. The apartment was perfect for us (we have 3 small kids) and there was toys to play with and a lot of sandtrip-stuff for the kids as well. Walking distance (2 min) to beach and the bay which quit waters perfect for our small kids. Lots of good playgrounds in the area as well. So the apartment and area is also superfamily friendly also with small kids. Hopefully we will be back in a near future. 10/10 from here.

This is a great place for small family. Located right next to Belmont Park. Very cute and clean spacious. I would totally stay again. Walking distance to beach/boardwalk/bayside.
