Escape to the country in a cozy cabin with fantastic mountain views, private entrance & parking. Situated just over Blue Mountian from Carlisle, this cabin offers the best of the area year-round! Enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, the Carlisle auto expo, Dickinson College, Shippensburg, Hershey Park, & more! Enjoy a week, weekend, or a night of simple relaxation. This rustic cabin is located in Free Spirit Campground in Landisburg, PA! Welcome to Misty Mountain Cabin! This beautiful cabin will sleep up to four people. One private bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full bath. The living room has a small futon, a full-size bed, and a half bath. The kitchenette has a small microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven, dishes, mugs, a 12-cup coffee pot, and utensils for your stay. Sit on the front deck and enjoy the beautiful mountain views! There are two deck chairs, a picnic table, and a fire pit with grate for cooking. Please note: * No pets or smoking allowed in cabins. * Wi-Fi is only available at the campground office/store and pool pavilion. * Check-in - 3:00 pm ~ Check-out - 11:00 am

The place was great and private. There are 2 trees that are perfect for setting up a hammock. Chicky’s 10 min away has great wings and food. There was coffee, creamer, sugar stocked and the campground manager brings you fresh firewood and drops it off if requested!
Carolyn was a great host! She communicated clearly and promptly. The cabin was such a cute and peaceful place to hangout for a few days while my husband went to a car show. The nearby pond (within walking distance) was perfect for my two teenage sons. It certainly beats a cramped hotel room. We will definitely book again next year!
Great getaway spot in the mountains. Small quaint cabin perfect for 1 or 2 people. Clean and peaceful. The bed was soft and the neighbors friendly. A few things to note, Wi-Fi doesn't work and there is no stovetop, grill or firepit grate for cooking. (and the microwave is small)

The campground is in a rural area. Parking for up to two cars is available in front of the cabin.
Grocery stores, wine and spirits, and local restaurants are about 25 minutes from the cottage.
There are two Italian restaurants, Dollar General, and a gas station w/ a small cafe five miles from the campground.
