杜鲁门斯堡(Trumansburg) · 农家仓房 · 1室4床1.5卫 · 可住4人 · The Bunkhouse at Crow Nest Farm. Dog Welcomed!
The Bunkhouse at Crow Nest Farm offers a memorable experience! Glamp in an 1880’s barn decked out with bunk beds, lockers, and a private deck and entrance. The cowpokes have moved on and now it’s your turn to stay! The bunks, made of spalted maple offer adult twin mattresses and bleached white bedding. Extra wool blankets provided for those chilly nights. The upper bunks are for agile wranglers only - climb down the ladder, swing down the rope or dismount off the chin up bars. The lower bunks accommodate everyone and offer plenty of space to sit up and easy in and out. All bunks have their own built in outlets, usb ports and lamps. The barn has high speed internet throughout. A mini fridge and freezer, table and chairs and a thick pile wool rug complete the furnishings…Comfort meets Adventure! Enter off your private deck overlooking the coop and it’s gardens. Relax in webbed lawn chairs or enjoy the public spaces in the barn. The barn new communal bathroom is a tile and tin masterpiece outside the Bunkhouse’s split door (Mr Ed style) leading into the common areas in the barn. The barn bathroom is shared with our sister Airbnb, Yellowstone. Wood salvaged from Cornell University’s library combines with old tin and modern amenities. The rain shower has plenty of hot water and Dr Bronners Pure Castile Liquid Soap and shampoo. The state of the art composting toilet is fan driven eliminating odors. We also have a 1903 three seater outhouse! We are on a spring fed well and ask you help conserve water usage. Hot coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the kitchen next to the bunkhouse with creamer and sugar provided. Baked goods are often left here, please help yourself. The barn kitchen is not set up for cooking - Heat up your leftovers in the microwave. The loft is for overnight guests only and offers a Rec Room with a comfy couch, old time console tv and monster movies. Board games and a puzzle table are stocked for your enjoyment. The Poker Room is where you want to be for late fun. The Bunkhouse is a unique, picturesque venue for guests over 13 only. Under 16 requires adult presence. The farm and barn are not safe for youngsters. The Bunkhouse is not air conditioned nor heated. No open flame of any type are allowed in the barn, including candles- no exceptions. No smoking is allowed on the property at all. Please enjoy adult beverages but no drunkenness or drugs allowed. We are not a party venue. Quiet time on the farm is 10pm-7 am but sometimes the rooster doesn’t respect that! The farm gets hopping around 9am so expect noise. Dog must be well brushed, leashed, stay off furniture and beds, and you must clean up after them please. Dog may never be left alone on property, they must go with you on your travels-no exceptions. The Bunkhouse is glamping - glamorous camping - at its best. If you don’t like rustic, think National Park, style accommodations then this space is not for you and we suggest you book our Jetson Suite which is located in the farmhouse. Got a big group? Consider booking our sister Airbnbs on the property: Yellowstone, a 14x16 glamping tent, The Coop, an 100 year old converted chicken coop, or The Jetson Suite located in the farmhouse.
The bunkhouse was very charming and perfect for my partner and myself. The beds were very cozy, and there were adequate blankets for the cooler nights. The property is lovely and peaceful. It’s very close to the center of Trumansburg, which was convenient for our plans. Chris was extremely hospitable and made sure we felt right at home!
This location was awesome!! The local cider brewers were like a part of the family and the decor was fantastic. Definitely planning to come again next year with friends to rent out the whole location :)
The idiot brothers were great as was their cider! We stayed over a wet weekend and were VERY cold. Slightly saved by one of the brothers getting us a heated blanket. You could see between the planks to outside. Only a MV in the kitchen so no toaster, jug , hot plate etc. would be fun in warmer months.
The place was lovely. All the decor was really cool to look at and check out. The Bunkhouse itself was a fun experience. Climbing down from the top bunks was fun for my son and I, and all the mattresses were comfy. Our only issue was at no fault to our hosts. With no temperature control, we were subject to unexpected low temperatures that made it pretty chilly. There were plenty of blankets on hand for a warm sleep, though. Our hosts provided an extra electric blanket on the second night that was super comfy. Would definitely return to experience more of the farm than we had time for.
Girls Weekend!! Three, older gals, had a great stay in Bunkhouse. It was cool and rainy all weekend, we didn't get to enjoy the outside property. We did get to explore the whole inside of the Barn and Cidery with those Idiot Brothers. Beautiful old wood, lots of interesting nooks and crannies, someone paid close attention to details. Bunks were warm comfortable cozy easy in/out/up and down, we had fun. Again, details- there were plugs and a light at each bunk. Lots of warm blankets available. Fresh baked goods available all weekend, mmmm. Large common area to hang out in. We were fortunate enough to be there when the Cidery was open, great experience. Everyone there was welcoming, made you feel at home comfort. Would definitely recommend to those seeking an interesting stay, but not to anyone looking for a hotel. We loved it!
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York State, Trumansburg boasts countless attractions within minutes of the Village and offers a wide list of restaurants & activities. We are on the Cayuga Wine trail in the heart of Amish country.
Crow Nest is less than a mile from town center. Walking and biking distance for many guests.
The Bunkhouse has two dedicated parking spaces in our Cidery parking lot. Arrive before dark to get oriented in daylight please. Drive past the barn entrance to the CrowNest sign and turn right of 227. Into our lot. Park in front of the Reserved for Bunkhouse Only signs. The Bunkhouse is located on the back, left side of barn and is well marked…look for the American flag waving above the door and the red webbed lawn chairs on your deck.
227 is a state Highway. Turn carefully into our lot and exit the same way. Cars and trucks travel fast on this highway.

While I got my start in hospitality, graduating the Cornell Hotel School in 1982, I fell in love with 'rescuing' old house and now work as a contractor flipping them. I like getting my hands dirty. I am easy going and a capable trouble shooter. Cindy is a retired librarian who is now our groundskeeper. Rob and Ritchie run Idiot Brothers Cidery and offer tastings by appointment.
