阿尔伯克基 · 整套出租单元 · 2室2床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · 225A-Lovingly restored 2/1 in quiet, gated duplex
This two-bed/one-bath apartment has been completely restored with a definite 1950’s and 60’s vibe, but with 21st century amenities. Conveniently located in the center of town and one block from Historic Route 66, you can be on the freeway or Uptown ABQ in five minutes and Downtown in just ten. This unit is approximately 700 square feet with a spacious living room and comfortable bedrooms. I have paid extra attention to details such as bedding and linens, leaning toward hotel-quality. The kitchen should be completely stocked with all the basics. I am willing to entertain any reasonable asks. The outdoor areas, shared by both units are quiet and peaceful. The backyard/parking area is shared with a 60-year-old mulberry tree and beginning this year I have started a long-term, desert-friendly landscaping plan. I will be filling in the yard with native plants and flowers and adding outdoor furniture to make it an even more inviting space. New Mexico's relatively mild climate make outdoor living comfortable most of the year.
Nice place. Host was very responsive and proactive. Home was older with some minor maintenance issues but everything worked. Neighborhood was less than ideal but security gates are nice. Parking might be difficult if you own a large truck or suv but I had no issues with my car.
Wendy was an excellent host. Very friendly and attentive. The house had gated parking and the neighborhood was very peaceful. The place was absolutely clean and functional. Would recommend this place.
Wendy’s AirBNB is comfortable enough with mostly quiet nights it’s near a busy street so occasionally you can hear annoyance. The neighbor that was connected to our apartment during our stay was kind. Wendy communicated well and offered to accommodate any need we had. My 13 year old and I are generally introverted people so we do not require much interaction, Wendy is interactive. We were unfamiliar with a swamp cooler (it’s kind of smelly when turned on) and Wendy was kind enough to explain how it works for air conditioning, we were unfamiliar with the older plumbing system with the toilet, and Wendy was kind enough to show us how it functions. I wasn’t thrilled with how the toilet stopped functioning or how the back yard parking did not have light sensors during our stay but over we had a good experience. We were able to visit the new library walking distance and feel safe with the option of gated backyard parking. My stay was for travel work and the location is central to much to do
Conveniently located in the center of town and one block from Historic Route 66, you can be on the freeway or Uptown ABQ in five minutes and Downtown in just ten. I am the building owner and live in the building directly behind this property
The property is located in one of ABQ’s neighborhoods-in-transition, with an array of houses in various stages of repair. You will see differences in restoration from block to block, with ours being one of the most updated. The City of ABQ is in the initial stages of revitalizing Central Avenue (Old Route 66) from Downtown eastward toward the mountain, planting trees and installing medians and re-surfacing streets. A new library has been built a block away.
I have lived in the neighborhood 13 years and find it serene and quiet.
