Our huge kitchen and dining space make meal preparation a breeze, and the massive deck allows for delightful outdoor entertaining with views of the Matanuska River valley. This Alaskan cabin is a celebration of true Alaska, complete with custom furniture and thoughtful touches.

Great stay. Amazing breathtaking view. Truly a stay we will never forget.
This was the perfect place for a milestone celebration. Had everything we needed to cook, the ability to cycle through a hot tub (clean), steam shower, rainfall shower, steam sauna, giganto bathtub. All you need is a stern person with a scrubbing/whacking implement that might offer massages (depending on ethnicity) and you’d have the whole sauna at home. Make your partner do it and you’re set. Great location, good communication, a wonderful first time in this gorgeous land.
The good news: this place is amazing and luxurious. The bad news: the hot tub was dirty, scummy, and green. we were pretty sad about that (main reason why we got the place), but the hosts were apologetic. It's also not completely secluded. There is another Airbnb home next door that we share a drive way/parking area with. Most surprising amenity was the steam shower, sooooo good! It's a lovely home, fantastic views, and great kitchen.

Towering spruce and birch trees line the streets, offering a rustic charm that resonates with both long-term locals and newcomers seeking an escape from urban hustle.
The neighborhood's location grants easy access to outdoor adventures. Hiking trails wind their way through the hills and valleys, leading explorers to magnificent viewpoints and allowing them to immerse themselves in Alaska's untouched wilderness. In the winter, the area transforms into a winter wonderland, enticing residents with opportunities for skiing, snowshoeing, and other snow-centric activities. The center of town is less than 10 mins away !
Five minutes outside of Palmer, parking allows for a maximum of two vehicles.
Please note: The Airbnb property is perched atop a hill and we strongly recommends guests to use a 4x4 vehicle during the winter for safe access, acknowledging that the necessity may vary depending on weather conditions.
