Thanks for such a great visit, Eric! Your home was just the peaceful getaway our family needed. As for the house, it was cozy, clean and comfortable with beds that made for a great night’s sleep. Your home was so clean and well cared for that I was able to immediately relax…which says a lot coming from the girl who usually washes the dishes BEFORE using them when visiting an Airbnb! Our dogs were in heaven with the fenced-in backyard and beautiful network of trails winding through the nearby forest…they ended each day completely exhausted from their exploring. This location allowed us to make the 35-minute drive up and back to Whistler for skiing several times during the week with no problem. A definite highlight was wandering through the mossy, green forest just down the road. We hope to return during the summer to try out the many mountain bike trails within walking distance from the house. This is one spot we will try to come back to!

Awesome place! Super cozy, clean and homey. The kitchen was well stocked and the house easy to warm with the fireplace. We used this as a base camp for skiing at Whistler, it was nice to get away from the crowds after skiing and stay here. Super accessible to the cute town of Squamish. Eric was very friendly and responsive, I would highly recommend staying here !

Such a beautiful house! Huge backyard and porch. Wifi worked well for multiple remote workers, and the kitchen was perfectly stocked.

I felt very lucky to find Eric's place for my trip to Squamish. It's a very comfortable place to stay: the quality of the space, furnishings, amenities, and decoration go above and beyond, while still having a very home-y and not stale feel. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and comes stocked with a decent amount of oil, spices, and other condiments. It's conveniently just a minute from highway 99 but totally unaffected by road noise -- which is an amazing combination. Finally, Eric as a host is very responsive and quickly answered a few basic questions I had for him during my stay. 10/10 would stay her again.

Eric's place was fantastic! The house was clean, spacious, and having all the amenities we needed. The multiple desk spaces were very convenient for remote work. We were able to park 3 cars in the drive-way no problem. I've spent a lot of time in Squamish before, but never actually stayed in the Brackendale neighborhood until now. I was pleasantly surprised that it's really still very close to town (under a 10 minute drive), and still very walkable on its own. Eric was a clear and prompt communicator. He let us borrow his copy of the Squamish Bouldering guidebook which was convenient since it had content that my outdated book didn't have. Would highly recommend this listing to those looking for some place in Squamish to stay, especially for those with a dog.
