A 3-minute walk leads to the main boulevard, which can also be cycled, and along which there are countless clubs open until late at night. From the seafront, after a couple of kilometres, you arrive at the centre of Chioggia, Venice's different twin, with its historical charm and the aromas of local fish offered in the many restaurants overlooking the canals or in the small squares. Nature lovers can head south, by bicycle, and reach the banks of the Brenta or cross the river and head towards the Delta along one of the many itineraries in the Po Delta National Park. From the port of Chioggia you can reach the centre of Venice by ferry, arriving directly in St Mark's Square.
The nearest supermarket is the Maxi in via Marco Polo, 350m away (5 minutes on foot). For those who want to do some quick shopping, there is an excellent bakery opposite the residence. There are plenty of bars, ice cream parlours, restaurants and pizzerias in the vicinity, as well as bike hire.

The nearest bus stop for buses to Padua and other major cities is 100 metres away. The Chioggia railway station is 3 km away, from where you can reach Venice and its airport by train, as well as Rovigo and from there Ferrara and other main destinations. Those arriving by car can easily park near the residence or in other nearby streets.
