This was a great place for a weekend trip, which is what we did. The drive from the checkin to the cabin is another 30 minutes. It made the trip longer. Unfortunately alot of bugs and ants. Lost alot of food, breads and boxed items because the ants got in it, even when sealed. I recommend putting everything in the refrigerator for storage. Otherwise it was exactly what was expected.

the hot tub was nice, and the furniture was in good shape the amount of insects inside was surprising even for a cabin. not a big deal for me but I'm sure some folks would not like that the check in /key pick was 30 minutes away from the cabin, they will not tell you where the cabin is before you pick up the key, that makes planning arrivals hard the neighbors were much closer than expected, you can see them very well (and vise versa) from the hot tub

The East Forks Cabin was infested with bugs, which is understandable for the location. But we were constantly cleaning them up. Then we found mouse poop on the counters and in the couch. We then saw a mouse in the middle of the kitchen floor. And finally the power went out at 6pm on the last night and wouldn’t get fixed until 9:30pm. This location did not have service and we lost connection to the wifi when the power went out. Due to all of this we felt very unsafe and left a day early. They refused to give a refund and said it was unreasonable for us to ask for one. We did not get actual help with the situation until Airbnb support was contacted. Overall the trip was not worth it due to the conditions of the cabin. The only thing worth the money was the hot tub.

It had all of the amenities we needed. The hot tub was very nice! Check-in was a little strange and would've preferred being able to drive to the location directly and not a separate trip to the main office. That being said, the instructions were well written and provided typed directions since service is spotty through the hills.
