Great place to stay with no worry

This cozy cabin was not only perfect for our needs in terms of location, but also a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. We will definitely be back.

We were looking for a private location to recharge for a couple of days. Once we found the cabin, Owls Nest allowed us to do just that. The address marker was not visible from the direction we came from. We ended up going further down the road and had to turn around to find it. There is some overgrown brush on the driveway- so use caution to not scrape your vehicle. There are only space heaters (as Brittany notes in the listing), and the one upstairs said 48 when we arrived. Here is a wall thermostat, but it must not connect to anything? The space heaters took about 45 minutes to get the cabin to a comfortable temperature. One of the space heaters beeps every time it turns on and off, which was rather annoying for a light sleeper. I don’t think it was mentioned in the listing, but the water is extremely hard/full of iron. We aren’t used to shower stalls, but it seemed to be smaller than average. The cabin is very clean and seems remote even with neighbors fairly close.

Cabin was adorable. Everything was very clean. I was worried about there only being space heater because we went in February…it was not an issue. We ended up turning them off at night because we were too hot. The water pressure was pretty low. There is a super cute fire pit outside. We didn’t get to use it because of the snow. There was games to play and movies to watch. She also provided tea and coffee. We would definitely stay there again. It’s very secluded and quiet. Host was very responsive. We had a great time.
