Spend a night in living history! The entire Blue Door Inn is perfect for wedding parties, family gatherings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or any large groups looking to stay in the beautiful river town of Alma. The Blue Door Inn sleeps up to 14 (5 full size beds, and 2 full size sofa sleepers) two kitchens, and 5 large full bathrooms! Full access to the 65-foot outdoor porch with Mississippi River views, two decks, and a garden patio with a fire pit and plenty of seating. The Blue Door Inn was built in 1853 as a blacksmith shop. This building has been completely remodeled while keeping the amazing historic charm. you'll see original brick and stone walls throughout, along with period furniture. All wood floors are original and have been beautifully refinished.

We had a great weekend and enjoyed the area very much. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Blue Door allowed everyone in our group of 10 to have some privacy. We used the main Kitchen area for games and meals, had a fire, and watched the river activity from the upper porch. Cool spot!

A great place to stay for large group gatherings. We had ladies weekend. Very clean, lots of space and had everything we needed. Alma has a lot of cute shops, and great small town hospitality . Nicole was an awesome host.

Lovely little stay! Charming spot, and cute little place on the river. Perfect for a getaway from the city, and great for a large group!

I really don’t like to write this kind of review….. because I really want this to be available next time we go to Alma. This place is fabulous!! We went during a girl’s weekend and everyone loved it! The only complaint, we only booked one night instead of two. Great communication. Fun attention to details. Great location. We will be back!
