Charming 1940's renovated home with view of the Wabash River, steps away from the Wabash River Trail for hiking/biking, easy walk to 950 Speakeasy for food, drink & live music. Large roomy house, great place for family & friends to gather for casual gatherings & relaxation. Abundance of outdoor activities nearby. Bright spacious kitchen well equipped for cooking meals & gathering around the table. Large open living area for guest to congregate for games, conversation & television. The 4 bedrooms are spacious & welcoming, super comfortable beds, closets with shelves & hanging space. Ceiling fans in all the rooms. The sun porch is a great place to get away to read a book or take a nap. Patio in backyard has furnishings for group including dining table & BBQ grill. Laundry provided for your convenience. We can also provide bicycles upon request.

The pictures do not do this house justice! Everything we needed or could think about needing was available in the house. Great for family vacations!

The BeeHive was a perfect fit for our family Christmas gathering. Barb has thought of everything and then some. It was super cozy and has all the amenities. Quiet and beautiful scenery. The house feels bigger than what the pictures portray. We comfortably feed 12 people for Christmas dinner. There is a new breakfast spot within walking distance and a walking trail just outside the front door.
I can't say enough good things about this beautiful home. The decor was amazing. It was by far the most comfortable and beautiful Airbnb I had ever stayed in. We were mostly just using the home to sleep since we have a farmhouse in the area that gets way too crowded during the holidays. I wish I could have spent more time at this gorgeous Airbnb!
Highly recommend Barb's home. In over a decade of AirBnB/VRBO rentals, this ranks as one of the top places we've stayed. The kitchen was the best stocked we have experienced. Between the pots and pans, spices, dishes, and silverware, there wasn't anything else we could have needed. The coffee/hot beverage bar was amazing, so many choices. They have done a phenomenal job updating a 1930s-era home so that it has all of the modern amenities without losing any of the period charm. The decorating is great, so many things to look at. We were able to spend some time in Lagro and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your home.

Lagro is a small rural community sitting on the banks of the Wabash River. It is in Wabash County, near Salamonie Reservoir. There is a gas station with small convenience store, a restaurant/bar, and an ice cream shop all within walking distance of house. Soon we will have a few small retail stores. :) It is approx. 10 miles from Wabash where you will find grocery stores, retail stores + additional restaurant options.
There are many outdoor activities boating/swimming/fishing on Salamonie Reservoir. Many beautiful water fall hikes in the area. The Wabash River Bike /Hike Trail runs through Lagro to Wabash. A ramp is located in Lagro for river access - Kayaking/Tubing/Canoeing on the Wabash River.
It's an easy walk to the 950 Speakeasy Bistro, Canal Creamery and the Wabash River Trail. We can provide bicycles for your enjoyment of the area. The bicycles are use at your own risk & you must provide your own helmets.
You will want a car to visit everything in the surrounding area!
