This memorable place is anything but ordinary! Built in the 1980s when horses still grazed within sight of Interstate 10, this barn housed chickens, a cow and rabbits! It was re-purposed in 2004 as a dwelling and now has been completely renovated with modern charm so that you can experience a taste of country while enjoying the conveniences of your favorite restaurants, stores and quick access to our beautiful beaches. Edna’s barn is located a mere 1.1 miles from interstate 10 off of exit 7. This home offers over 1600 square feet with 9 ft ceilings in the living room downstairs. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Also a home office workspace with free Wi-Fi. A small fence in the back allows you to enjoy a little private country with songbirds, and wild Canada geese honking overhead as they fly from pond to pond. And yes, when you open the back door, any time the weather is warm, the frogs will be croaking in the pond nearby. The kitchen is equipped with coffee and the essentials to make your stay enjoyable. There is a washer and dryer for your use. No television

We LOVED Edna’s Barn!! We are Southern Gospel Singing Group and happened to be traveling through the area.. our other accommodations fell through, but Edna saved the day!! We could have been more pleased with our stay, the barn was immaculate and comfortable! It felt like staying in a family members home! If you have small children (maybe even the bigger ones) they’ll love exploring the property, and playing with the goats! I wish I could give them 100 stars!
We enjoyed our stay for spring break!! The barn was entirely beautiful. Everything was spotless clean, we had no issues. Would definitely stay again. 10/10 recommend.

This was one of the nicest, cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. We stayed two weekends in a row (headed to Winter Haven FL and returning from Winter Haven FL.) Our grandkids loved the goats, gathering fresh eggs every morning and playing baseball with the kids in the surrounding homes. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed. And the farmers market was close by to purchase fresh items. If you need to use the sofa bed, just a warning it is not very comfortable. Our family (10 of us) drive from TX to Winter Haven FL every year, so this will definitely be a place we will stop at again. Edna's barn is definitely 5 stars!
Miriam’s place is absolutely wonderful. It was the gift that kept on giving. You can tell the host is incredibly thoughtful. There were games, free coffee, waters, and snacks. The crib for my daughter worked great. All of the little details were simply icing on the cake. My daughter loved petting the goats, my husband loved the coffee and the record player, and I loved the decor and all of the fabulous lighting throughout the barn. We are from Pensacola, so this was actually a getaway for us and we highly recommend it. We’d love to come back again. It couldn’t have exceeded our expectations more. Truly one of the most unique wonderful airbnbs I’ve ever seen! Thank you!

You will want a vehicle to get around but it’s only a mile to Cracker Barrel and other restaurants. Grocery stores are close by also

I love nature, flowers and my vegetable garden and fruit bushes. When possible I hope you will take a moment to drink some coffee outside and enjoy the simple pleasures of the birds or nature’s breeze . Even while acknowledging that summertime can be brutal when the real feel gets to be 101°! I keep extra so can sell a bag of my brothers amazing coffee to take home.
