We had a rental fall through at the last minute with another company and Sunset really came through for us. I was able to do a late day booking and the rest of our vacation to watch the eclipse. The cottage was small but we had everything we needed. It’s very newly remodeled and decorated nicely. We were very comfortable there.
The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the interior is nice. We had stayed here before and had forgotten that neither shampoo or bath soap is provided. That required a trip to the supermarket before we could shower on Saturday. They also ask that you wash any dishes you used before checking out. That's fine but they also didn't provide any dish washing soap. That required another trip to the supermarket before we left. The unit does not have cable tv or satellite tv but has the usual apps on the televisions. They have a Hulu subscription that supposedly includes local TV channels but for the life of us couldn't find them. That sucked when we wanted to catch a college football game Saturday evening. Overall our stay was nice and would stay here again as long as we remember to bring our own soaps.
Beautiful little place! Close to the strip and the State Park.
The house was clean and comfortable. It’s close to the main part of GOTL and close to a nice community park where we could walk our pup.
