Jeanette’s place was as described in the listing. It was clean and welcoming and very comfortable for a long stay. The place is well equipped with linens, towels, cleaning products, even beach towels. The kitchen has all necessary utensils and equipment to be comfortable and to prepare your own meals. Jeanette has made a particular effort to make sure guests feel at home. The place is very walkable to the lovely downtown shops in Courtenay and a very pleasant area to take an evening walk past the charming homes and gardens adjacent to the river. Highly recommended. Central to both Courtenay and Comox. Beautiful riverfront property, park like setting with trees and trail walks. Fly fishing right in front of the complex. Walking distance to downtown Courtenay, 5th Street shops, cafes, galleries, pubs, restaurants, museum and local theatre. Just across the bridge is Lewis Park including the Courtenay Recreation Centre (pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, skatepark). Walk to the Condensory Trails (swimming, tubing) or a 5 minute drive to Puntledge Park. Nearby Birdwatching platform at the Courtenay River Estuary. Courtenay & Comox are home to numerous Breweries and Brew pubs, as well as Wayward Distillery. Every July, the Comox Valley Exhibition grounds hosts the Vancouver Island Music Festival. Nearby Cumberland is home to amazing mountain biking trails. Mount Washington Ski Resort is a 30minute drive from the apartment.
Unit comes with a parking space just outside the door.
