Get away from the hustle and bustle with a stay in our cozy home located in a quiet, park-like setting. Our home is centrally located in Freeland, five minutes from the nearest grocery store and fifteen minutes from the Clinton ferry. Enjoy easy access to shops and restaurants, old-forest hiking trails, lakes for swimming or paddle boarding and the beach! Offering comfort and convenience, we hope you enjoy our home as much as we do. Our home is well-equipped with three bedrooms and two full baths. The primary bedroom has an en-suite bath and the second bath is in the hallway, easily accessible to the other two bedrooms and the main living area. The second bedroom is designed as a guest bedroom while the third doubles as a TV room with a pull out sofa. The main living area has an open space concept with the dining room, living room and kitchen overlooking Holmes Harbor. Our yard is fully fenced. The front yard has a garden patio with beautiful flowers in the spring and summer. We provide patio furniture and large umbrellas for sun protection. Our backyard is an open lawn that looks out over Holmes Harbor from a high bank.

Heidi’s place is wonderful. The location was superb overlooking the water. We were lucky to have whales pass right by the house 2 of our nights! Heidi had great suggestions for beaches with dogs. Heidi’s place was very cozy and clean and we felt right at home. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
Had a great time at Heidi's house. Amazing view, excellent internet (did an online workshop)- had everything we needed to fully relax and enjoy a long weekend on Whidbey with our little dog.
Heidi’s place was a wonderful quick trip for my wife and our small dog! He has a great time running around in the large fully fenced yard! The view from the place is beautiful and the home it’s self is super comfy, especially the bed! This was a short trip and we will definitely be returning for a longer one in the future, we’d highly recommend! Heidi’s guidebook was awesome, Definitely make sure you use it to find some good spots to eat and explore!

Our home is positioned on a high bank, there is no direct public beach access. The closest public access saltwater beach is Freeland Park and the nearest freshwater lake is Goss Lake, both just an easy five minute drive from our place.

My partner, Paul, and I are both artists and musicians so it is fitting that we were drawn to the quaint setting of south Whidbey for our first home together. We enjoyed residing on Whidbey for three years and, as hosts, we look forward to sharing the space with our guests and their furry friends. We know you will absolutely fall in love with our special spot while enjoying morning coffees on the garden patio and sunsets over the harbor with a bonfire in the backyard. Our quiet neighborhood is the ideal location for a relaxing stay while exploring Whidbey Island. While we don’t live in the immediate area, we are happy to make suggestions and provide assistance during your stay. As travelers, we are easy going and respectful. We have both dabbled in the travel industry and appreciate all cultures and backgrounds. We are both originally from Washington state but have also made residences in California, Alaska, and New Zealand. In addition to traveling the greater US several times over our favorite memories come from our trips to Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Japan, China, Australia, Iceland, Thailand, Cambodia, and New Zealand! Looking forward to our next adventures to come.
