It was awful experience. First time I have to cancel apartment next day after arriving on airbnb. - A lot of stuff is broken or not working, cheap equipment and linen. - It was dirty and insects inside, including the bed. - The house fully relies on solar power. Limited on power during night time (hot water or using kitchen equipment). The host provide that information only on arriving. - Smell of the gas in a kitchen (host does not notice that, of course) - Double check with host if there is a way to heat up apartment as I travel with a baby. Host ensure that it is covered. On arrive he offered to use gas heater. But the host told that it is totally fine to use it inside during the night! After reading the manual it became clear it is not allowed to use in unvented room, could not be used unattended or during sleep time (CO2), could not be used in bedrooms and it has open fire. IT IS DANGEROUS! - Canceled booking after 1 night, payed for 4. Host stop communication, refused refund

Das Haus und die Umgebung sind ein Traum. Alles war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Der Ausblick ist phantastisch. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Positives: the view was beautiful and the place cooled off in the evenings with the windows open. It was nice to be so close to but feel so far from Lisbon. We enjoyed picking cherries from the trees on the property. Easy access to local wineries from the location. Negatives: The kitchen smelled of fish. The bathroom smelled like sewage (we were told by the host that it was due to the water heater). The place was missing trash bin bags and the host didn't remedy. The rain shower head was broken so we had to use the lower detachable shower head. The oil bottles in the cupboard were empty. The pool was small and pretty chilly (but it was still nice to have it). There was no wood/coals for the fire pit or BBQ. A few of the blinds were broken and could therefore not be closed in the living room. The neighbors' dogs came by and stayed outside for a while which freaked our dog out. This place could be great with some maintenance and amenities updates and more proactive customer service
