Villa Kahkaro is a brand new fully equipped 3 bedroom holiday home with a sauna by clean lake Vesijärvi, only a 30 minutes drive from Tampere city center. The main house consists of two separate parts. On one side are the master bed room, bathroom and combined kitchen and living room with large windows providing an open view to the lake from North to South. In the living room there is a fire place, a large flat screen TV and wifi network. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, dish washing machine, oven, microwave and stove. The two parts of the house are connected by a covered deck with glass walls. On the other side there are 2 smaller bedrooms and a small wc, all with their own doors to the deck. Next to the small wc there is the laundry, with washing machine and drier. The covered part of the deck gives addtional "indoor" space thanks to the glass walls and stays warm from early spring to autumn. It is however not heated and does get cold in the winter time. There is a large gas barbeque, dining table and lounge set on the deck. Both sides of the house are air-conditioned and the floors are heated. The main house, sauna by the lake and the pier are all connected by the same terrace. The pier faces South West and captures even the last sun rays of the day. The sauna can fit 6 people and there are two showers in the washing room. There is also a small fridge in the small room in the sauna building for your drinks. If needed 1-2 people can sleep in the small room in the sauna building. There is a rowing boat and a kayak that you can use freely. For a small fee we can also arrange a SUP board and/or a wind surf board with the needed gear. There is plenty of fish in the lake and you can fish from the pier or from the rowing boat around the small islands nearby. In the winter time we keep a hole in the ice for the ice swimming experience. Nearest ski resorts are about an hour’s drive from the house. The villa is designed and most comfortable for a group of 4-5 people but accomodate 6 with extra beds.
