Sylvia's place is one of the best on the island, especially if you like to cook your own meals! We loved the full kitchen, spacious apartment, and quick trip from the airport. Sylvia was an amazing host, hope we'll be back here someday!

Sylvia’s Place is my favorite place to stay in American Samoa. It is perfectly located, as you can walk to restaurants and a variety of stores (grocery, convenient, and fabric). I usually take an early morning walk to Turtle and Shark for a Starbucks coffee. I also feel safe at this location. The location is always clean and well stocked. The arrival and departure instructions are clear and concise. Thank you, Sylvia!

Sylvia’s place was just as described! Has several A/C units which are helpful after a long day hiking and exploring. Just a heads up, when I booked it showed up on the map as being in Pago Pago, but it’s really just a couple minutes from the airport in Tafuna. I would stay here again.

Flying to the other side of the world is always a bit stressful, but Sylvia provided us with great information and helpful tips to prepare us for our stay in American Samoa. Communication was always very quick and helpful and we were able to stay a bit later than normal checkout so we could get another hike in on our last morning, which was very nice and much appreciated. We found the apartment without problems and felt right at home. It was great to have a little home away from home to ourselves during our stay and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen to cook and enjoy lunch, while the restaurant recommendations got us covered for dinner. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom had a great shower which was much needed after hiking in the National Park all day, the area was peaceful and quiet and the AC worked great. We could not have hoped for a better place to stay at during our trip.
