It was a first for all of us to get this near to Taal lake. The boat ride was scenic and makes you feel you’re actually going inter island on sea, complete with waves. The lake house was a unique property - isolated from anything else, thick forest at the back and surprisingly clear lake water overlooking the volcano, Mt. Maculot and the Tagaytay ridge on the horizon. The view, especially at night with the full moon was magical. The well-appointed accommodation is a house I dream of building, but I am truly just grateful for Airbnb stays that allow us to have unique experiences like this without the cost of maintaining a property. Our host, Joey, was very proactive, gracious and responsive. Her staff headed by Santa and Benjie were very warm, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this place! Hoping to have a longer stay next time.

Amazing amazing place! We’re truly enjoying our stay here! 1) The owner, Sir Omar, is very welcoming which we truly appreciated. He even carried our bags for us. 2) The ride to the place is scenic. A 20-25min boat ride in the Taal Lake. 3) The place is soooooo soooo beautiful. I love how they thought of everything. There are endless of things to do - archery, golfing, badminton, the pool (which btw is spring water so I even drank it!) 4) The caretakers are kind. Ate Santa was able to provide our requests in a snap. 5) The overall ambiance is very serene, calming and magical. Loving all the sound of nature. What a nice retreat 3hrs away from Pampanga, our hometown. Thanks to the family, Sir Omar and Ms. Joey for being nice all throughout and for sharing your piece of paradise! We will be back!

Excellent location and a beautiful home with gorgeous scenery and plenty of activities and games to enjoy outside. The host was very accommodating and helpful with every question. One thing to note is that the boat ride is much longer if you're with a large group. It's more like 30-40 minutes to get to the house with a fully packed boat on calm water. And with any place in the middle of nature, bring resealable bags to keep ants out of your food, or keep everything in the fridge. I would really recommend any unit on this property to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful location.

Comment: 1) slept soundly, your bed & pillows at lago resort are so comfy…may we know where to get for home use. (2) kitchen is well equipped; 3) lots of outdoor fun activities provided by our gracious host; 4) memorable & comfortable place to stay with dear friends. Great view and sunset. Dock is a good place to take IG photos during sunset. Kayaking in the calm water in the morning and seeing all those birds was a great experience. Would love to do it again.
