my wife and I stayed in Michael's Y Caban for our "mini-moon", and what a quirky little place it is. It is as cool as it looks in the pictures and the inside is surprisingly large and furnished very well. It was very clean throughout and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We very much look forward to returning in the near future.

We were very excited to visit Anglesey and stay at Y Caban. The correspondence before and during the stay was fantastic. We were really grateful for the detailed recommendations, which helped us plan our stay. Check in was easy and well described by the hosts. The Cabin is beautifully presented and very clean. It’s small but plenty big enough for 2 people for a short stay. The views are spectacular and its lovely to sit and admire them. We have to admit that we just couldn’t get our head around the toilet. We could work it just fine, but quite simply we just found it unpleasant and when you’re paying £240 a night, I do think customer experience should be considered. We felt there was some lack of attention to detail in places, we brought BBQ food but the BBQ is full of rust and the tripod for the projector hasn’t been replaced. Did we enjoy it, absolutely! Would we return, unfortunately no. We came away having enjoyed our experience but feeling decidedly short-changed.

The cabin was beautiful & very private however I feel that there should have been some kind of manual about the facilities in the cabin even a qr code that we could access as we had to reach out to the host about the hob and projector. The projector didn’t work but we weren’t that bothered as talked, read, played games but if you want a tv perhaps take a laptop or iPad. In all we had a very restful experience.

Our stay was enjoyable overall, we cannot fault how clean & cosy the cabin was. Bed was comfy, we got a good sleep on both nights. The waterless toilet feature is definitely different! But easy enough to use with clear instructions provided. We do agree that it lacks privacy despite a lovely view - some sort of blinds or light curtains would help keep the light out in the morning & provide more comfortability getting changed etc. Thank you for having us & the dog!
