Feel welcome in our much-loved family home, centrally located in suburban Durban North. Enjoy the open-plan indoor living spaces with an informal eating area in the kitchen or formal dining area between the two lounges, each with a TV. The three bedrooms & two full bathrooms are located off the living area, all on one floor. If you prefer peaceful, tropical spaces, both the back patio area (for a cozy BBQ) as well as the front outdoor dining area with a private pool are ideal for family fun! Our property is built in a tiered style with the spacious parking area as you drive in through the main front gate. From the parking area, through a gate, you will find the front lawn and pool area. A few steps up and you will arrive at the outdoor dining area under a waterproof gazebo and the fun slide for the pool! Up a few more steps and you will arrive at the front door (featured in the photos) which will open into the living, dining and kitchen area, leading out to the patio area and back garden. A passage leads off the living area with the three bedrooms on the right of the passage, overlooking the pool, and the two bathrooms on the left. This passage can be locked with a door and security gate at night and all bedrooms have discreet security bars on each window. The main bedroom also has its own external access through a doorway on the front verandah.

We absolutely loved our stay! Kate was very friendly and welcoming, and very responsive. The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious, we felt very comfortable and happy during our stay. Airconditioned rooms and comfortable beds. The kids particularly enjoyed the pool and interacting with the pets. The gardens were lush and had a tropical feel. Would definitely book again next time we’re in Durban!

Kate's place was a home where we could relax and feel good. It was one of the best BNB experiences I have ever had.. Kate was amazing . Her dogs amazing her house wonderful . Really a great stay . Highly recommend it for all.. worth every cent

This was an amazing stay. Cozy and welcoming space. Everything was as described and the place matched the photos. It was private and quiet, just what we were looking for. Will definitely recommend this house to anyone. Really a home from home, quiet, private and peaceful environment, Kate and Purity (house manager) could not do enough to make our stay a great experience ,the house is beautiful, very well equipped with everything you can think of. Thanks Kate and Purity.

What a wonderful place for a family holiday. Spacious, and just as the description on the booking. Kate was an excellent Host who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had access to everything. She even made a list of recommendations for us to do and experience and she even had restaurant recommendations for my family. We felt special with Gogos making breakfast and dinner for us upon request and they also helped with our laundry and helping with any kind of cleaning. Thanks Gogos(Grandma) for everything. The pool is a plus for this property we enjoyed the outdoor spaces by eating breakfast outside, talking, music and dancing. Kate is an awesome host she even allowed family to visit us while we were staying at her place. Thanks Kate for being so accommodating and allowing us to even have a late checkout since we had an evening flight. Highly recommend this home because I’m looking forward to my next visit at Durban and hopefully Kate’s home will be available.
