Your own private oasis and fully air-conditioned two story tropical villa, La Casa Tropical. Relax and cool off during the day in our beautiful, shady outdoor entertainment area by the resort-style pool and watch the palm trees sway in the cool breeze. Cook up a storm in our fully equipped kitchen or outdoor BBQ. Then kick back, enjoy a drink, and bask in the final glow of the afternoon sun as you watch one of Darwin's iconic sunsets and eat under the stars or by the fire! - Expect an authentic tropical elevated home environment that provides everything you need for a fabulous and comfy stay. - Secluded private resort-style pool, outdoor shower, entertainment area with BBQ and fire pit. - Beautiful tropical garden with plenty of space for kids to run around. - The ground floor contains a spacious open plan lounge and dining with full kitchen. - Laundry and one bathroom located on ground floor. - Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms, another bathroom and a laptop friendly workspace. - Sleeps up to 10 comfortably. - Fully air-conditioned throughout both levels. - There are two staircases outside providing access to the top floor as well as an internal spiral staircase. This is not a wheelchair accessible property. - Plenty of secure parking space for boat or caravan. - Free WiFi.

We loved our stay for a family holiday. The house is beautiful with a big kitchen and garden, and lots of spaces in which to relax and spend time together. Short drive to shops, and easy driving distance to lots of Darwin activities. Thanks again!

Just a little issue with the air conditioning in the bunk bedroom. It was not working and that room gets very warm. Also in that bedroom the fans are at head heigh from the top bunks which could be a potential safety risks for kids staying in that room. Other than that we have enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for hosting :)

Situated on the edge of Darwin's leafy northern suburbs, Leanyer is a quiet established area bordering the Buffalo Creek and Lee Point nature reserves. Our street backs onto the natural bushland.
Leanyer amenities only a 5 minute drive include Hibiscus Shopping Centre (Woolworths, Brumby’s Bakery, Territory Butchers), our favourite pub Dollys Bar & Bistro (one of the best steak and Sunday roast in Darwin) and the Leanyer Recreation Park for all your kid-friendly fun.
Casuarina Shopping Centre, Lee Point Beach, and Casuarina Coastal Reserve are less than a ten-minute drive or a leisurely 20-minute eBike ride.

Our home has easy access to both the city centre as well as the rural attractions that Darwin and the Top End are so famous for.
15 minute drive to anywhere in Darwin.
10 minute drive to the famous Nightcliff Foreshore and beautiful Casuarina Beach.
Only a five minute drive to Buffalo Creek boat ramp and Lee Point coastal reserve.
Five minutes to our local shopping centre and favourite pub.
Public transport located within five minutes walk.
Uber is roughly $20 to Darwin city.
You can also hire a Neuron eBike and cycle from our place down the coast to the city.
For those hiring a car and exploring all the NT has to offer, we are only an hour from the pristine Litchfield National Park and more.
