There aren’t enough words to describe how incredible this entire experience was for my group and I. We consider each other family, but getting together can sometimes be a little difficult with time, money, location, etc. We have been renting airbnbs for years, and to say that this was the best one we’ve ever been to doesn’t do it justice. From the moment I requested to book this home to the moment we left just felt right. We were more than taken care of and surely well accommodated. The home itself was more than expected. So much to do around but also inside. We felt at home and never got bored. Games galore. That’s our favorite. It rained all day one of the days, but the other day was made for the water! We spent the whole time out there enjoying what nature delivers. There wasn’t a single issue and the everything was more than well stocked! Anything needed as far as a home is concerned. We hope to make this our regular vacation spot. Thankyou The Place @ The Lake. 💜

A beautiful place to stay with a kitchen that had everything you would want to help you cook! Easy access to the water and a quiet beautiful community. Cannot recommend enough!

Our stay at the Place at the Lake was fantastic! The house is gorgeous and very spacious. There was plenty of room not only for all of us to sleep, but there were also multiple large hang-out areas so that we could have different conversations or board games going at the same time. We also enjoyed having multiple patios to enjoy outdoors as well as access to ample outdoor equipment. The house was also the most well-stocked AirBnb I've ever stayed at, especially in terms of kitchen-ware. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, which was perfect for our relaxing weekend with friends. Evan is an extremely gracious host; he was very communicative and friendly both before and during our stay. The instructions for everything from check-in to check-out were extremely clear. We hope to stay at Evan's place again!

We enjoyed our family Thanksgiving at The Place at the Lake and it was the perfect accommodation for our family. The home and neighborhood were lovely. There was plenty of space and activities and the amenities were 5-star. Evan was a great host and quickly responded to all my questions. Highly recommend.

The Place at the Lake was wonderful. We had lots of family staying together, 12 people, and had PLENTY of room. We loved the amenities - ping pong, darts, lawn games, great selection of board games, video games, kayaks and paddle boards. We didn't bring a boat, but we thought the hosts generous to also allow use of water skis and tubes. And the house was remarkably clean - seriously spotless.
