"A Room With A Pew" is a truly unique Airbnb experience. This beautifully restored 1903 church is a haven for travellers looking for a one-of-a-kind stay. When you step inside, you'll be blown away by the stunning stained glass windows and thoughtfully curated decor. Each private suite is spacious, unique and inviting. The large shared common space is the perfect spot to unwind. Whether you're travelling solo or with a group, this is an experience that you simply cannot miss This large old church was closing its doors, and I often wondered what could be done to reopen it in another way, instead of just letting it diminish over time or, worse yet, be torn down! What could be done to breathe new life into it, to allow cherished memories to live on and new memories to be created? That's where the vision of "A Room With A Pew Suite One," "A Room With A Pew Suite Two," and "A Room With A Pew Master Suite" came in. Through a labour of love and hard work, we have transformed this former church into a spectacular space of rustic and retro. As a traveller and frequent user of short-term rentals, it was important to me that each suite had its own private bathroom, shower, and sink. The shared indoor common area also needed to be quaint, with multiple sitting options, quiet areas, and a well-equipped kitchen/coffee bar. The 100+-year-old hardwood floors were brought back to life. If only they could speak, the stories they could tell! There are many rental options available due to the way the space was designed. There are three suites in total ("A Room With A Pew Master," "A Room With A Pew Suite One," and "A Room With A Pew Suite Two"). The master suite is a spacious, luxurious suite with a full kitchen and its own private entrance. Suite One and Suite Two are private, but share a common seating area and patio-style deck. Alternatively, you can open the Master Suite double doors and rent all three units for a combined space of over 2000 sq. ft. Check out each listing for more details. Note: Available amenities in the coffee bar are a toaster; blender; toaster oven; hot plate; coffee pot; tea kettle; utensils; dishes; cups; wine glasses; coffee; tea; sugar; salt and pepper and cooking oil. Other: Smoking and vaping are only allowed in the north gazebo or away from the building. Smoking is prohibited on the deck and in the building itself. This is not a pet-friendly rental.
