The Gambling Buffalo Cabin is one of our newest Cabins and has 2 queen sized beds. Just opened March 2023, The Gambling Buffalo Cabin at The Lazy Buffalo has two queen size beds and a full bathroom with a large walk in tiled shower accented with glass blocks. Knotty pine and corrugated tin are used throughout the spacious cabin. Dark stained concrete floors and tin ceilings really add a rustic yet elegant touch. The kitchenette area has a mini fridge and microwave along with table and chairs. Sip on a cup of coffee from the front porch or have a picnic in our outdoor pavilion area complete with charcoal Grill. Both kids and adults will love tossing horseshoes and playing old fashion board games. On property, we also have fun recreation like disc golf, giant Connect 4, volleyball, and an interactive music wall in nature. Don't forget to snap photos at our themed photo ops. During your stay, enjoy complimentary Netflix and WiFi or unplug and take in the beauty of the nearby Wichita Mountains from the covered front porch. Southwest Oklahoma sunsets are truly beautiful. When it gets dark, roast marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit or relax under the stars in the back of our vintage star gazing pickup, located just a short walk from the cabin. The Gambling Buffalo Cabin is part of our newest addition at The Lazy Buffalo. The Cabin decor is casino inspired with a feeling lucky vibe. The Comanche Cache Casino is just a block away. The 17,000 square foot casino is between phases and is temporarily closed for expansion. When fully completed, it's expected to have 250 gaming machines and a restaurant. Not only do we have 4 Casinos within 30 minutes of our location, but we are located just three miles from the entrance to the Wichita Mountains entrance. The Wildlife Refuge preserves 59,000 acres of mixed prairie grass, ancient mountains, lakes, and streams. Herds of bison, longhorn, and elk can be seen roaming free and there's endless recreations opportunities such as fishing, bird watching, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, and kayaking. A paved bike lane joins our property and runs throughout the Wildlife Refuge. At less than a mile from the original Quanah Parker’s Star House and minutes from Lawton Fort Sill and historic Medicine Park, there's plenty to see and do nearby.
