This charming cottage exceeded my expectations. It was exactly as described and the pictures showed it accurately, but that couldn't capture the charm and coziness! So well decorated, spotlessly cleaned, absolutely the best stocked kitchen! Shelley has thought of everything, lots of towels, BBQ, fire pit, games, books! The location is quiet and private with a lovely view of the water and a short walk to the beach. There are neighbour's in viewing distance, but no issues with that at all. Shelly was excellent. It was very easy to book and communicate with. Paula, the property manager, responded within minutes when I had a couple of questions. I highly recommend this property!

Our stay in Shelley's cottage was exceptional. Everything exceeded expectations, especially the beach at the end of the road. We had a blast checking out the coast around low tide, and seeing everything the ocean had to offer. My daughter especially loved the seals, which swam just off the shore. The cottage has all of the essentials. We were very thankful for the beach chairs and umbrellas in the closet!

Shelly’s cottage was the perfect spot for my family and I to enjoy spending quality time together. We all walked down to the shore every day to explore what the tide had brought in. The horses grazing in the neighbouring field just added to the feeling of peace and tranquility. We played board games most evenings and sat around the bonfire one night as well. The local Islanders are super friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed eating at Harbourview Restaurant 5 min down the road in quaint Murray Harbour. We also had fun listening to local ghost stories down at Cape Bear Lighthouse on Wednesday at dusk (being a chair and big spray!). Nothing on the island is really far so there are lots of places to go see and spend the day at such as Basin Head beach, Charlottetown and Greenwich National Park. We LOVE PEI and will definitely be back!

Our family stayed there from Nebraska, Texas and Oregon. We enjoyed the peacefulness and cleanliness. Owners do a wonderful job in helping you feel welcome. I appreciated the guide book for instructions. I would have enjoyed a bit more history of the area though. Also, Georgetown and Montague information would be helpful. We shopped in Georgetown and ate lunch there. A copy of businesses from their Cities would have helped us to support them. The laundry facilities was most appreciated. This is a wonderful, clean, relaxing, private cottage. You can experience the tender loving care presented there. The owners mom and dad stay there according to the journal. That tells you a lot.
