The Old City Hotel - Bayou Suite is a lovely space decorated with antiques, but with great lighting, comfortable furnishings and great bed. Outstanding features are the view of the Bayou Teche and the beautiful garden just outside the building.

Debora was a very responsive host. We love staying in historic homes and enjoyed the little details in this one. Breaux Bridge is an awesome community, and the house sits right on the bank of Bayou Teche. The only issue we ran into was that the AC did not work, and with our very late check-in, we didn’t want to wake up the host. That’s our fault not hers! Our stay was only 8 hours…just enough get a little sleep before getting back on the road…and we let her know about the AC when we left. I would also recommend bringing your own pillows as the ones on the bed didn’t have much filling. Beautiful, historic home with very cool furniture and awesome location!

We could not have imagined a more picturesque place to stay in Beaux Bridge and Debora was an amazing and generous host! She was easy to communicate with, responsive and gave us all kinds of amazing recommendations that exactly met our desires for the weekend getaway! The room was beautiful and spacious, the place clean and comfy, and the space exactly as described! We loved every minute of our stay!
