We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The home looked exactly like the photos. It was a lovely and pleasant surprise as sometimes the photos make places look bigger. Everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was really lovely and stocked with surprise extras like salt, pepper, cling wrap, baking paper, al foil. There was also a hand held beater, and sandwich press. The laundry had laundry detergent, vacuum, mop, broom. The queen bed was really comfortable with an Emma mattress topper. There is also a small portable heater and a highchair if needed. We loved the backyard! Loved sitting out on the deck. The only downsides was not having wifi, and the back neighbours 2 dogs. The dogs would bark at our two through the fence. We didn't spend too much time outside as we didn't want their dogs agitated, and running up and down the fence line. The neighbour was considerate enough to get her dogs in if they were barking. But daytime they seemed outside all day. A home away from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house was well stocked in all areas for our family, grandchildren and our fur babies. Joel & Caleb were great hosts. My only disappointment is, no Wifi. I missed this when booking.

Joel and Caleb's place was a great size, with comfy beds and plenty of CDs, DVDs and games provided. The living room had a huge couch that comfortably fit our group of four adults. The back outdoor deck was a great feature and the yard felt secluded and private with the large fences and fully enclosed yard for our greyhounds. Maybe worth noting the grass is fake and so can get hot underfoot on a sunny day. A few disappointments included the bedrooms being quite dirty with hair left on beds from last renters and old bird poo on outdoor furniture and deck which is in need of a pressure wash. It was also a little disappointing to not have linen included for the price, but this was made clear in the listing. Our group had horrible phone reception all throughout the house and there is no wifi which we did not think to check when booking. Overall, a nice place to stay, dog friendly with many amenities to make your stay comfortable.

Joel and Caleb were lovely in communications and easy to get in contact with. The home itself was beautiful with a great yard which our dog loved. Location was really quiet and enjoyable out of the hustle and bustle of cowes but still a very close drive! However unfortunately on our stay, a number of the kitchen dishes were left dirty and greasy, it was clear they hadn’t be washed properly prior to our arrival. We had to clean the bbq significantly to feel safe in using it as it had significant build up on it. In addition to this, the place was listed as pet friendly, which it was, however, our dog found a medium sized chocolate Easter egg in the yard and ate it - of which is dangerous for dogs to consume - causing us some concern for his welfare and continues safety during our stay.
