My recent stay as a solo backpacker at La Riviera was absolutely exceptional and I highly recommend this property. The location was ideal because it is situated at the center of Laoag City and is accessible to local attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. The property exuded a homey and cozy ambience. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the river where I spent hours of sipping unlimited coffee provided by the generous host. My gracious hosts, Papus and family, were incredibly accommodating as they let me check in early and check out late due to trip schedule of the buses. They were kind to offer to pick me up and drop me off the bus terminal. Furthermore, the hosts went above and beyond to provide me with local recommendations, drive me to the nearby market, and even cook my breakfast. My home away from home stay at La Riviera was really unforgettable experience. I absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Ilocos Norte.

I booked this unit for my sister’s birthday and luckily it was available on my intended date. The host was very warm and followed safety protocols upon checking in. It was a walking distance from the bus station but the host picked us up from there. The room is better than the pictures shown and could probably accommodate probably 2 more guests. We loved it that they offered free breakfast and a car service (with minimal fee) for our touring needs in Laoag. The place was cozy and we chose to eat out on their veranda. The living room is common but it appeared as if we have rented the whole house. Internet and Netflix is a breeze and a chef-worthy kitchen is very prominent. We learned that the house is already 50 years old and you could see that it is newly renovated and other areas of the house is still on the works. Overall, we stayed comfortably even for a night and are planning to come back with our family members soon!
