My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Maridor. Checking in and out was contactless/electronic code. We stayed in the Rose room - nicely decorated and comfortable. The bed is high off the floor and I used the stair stool to safely get in and out. The room was a little colder than I find comfortable but we were able to adjust the thermostat or use a swivel heater and it was good. The hotel has a restaurant on the first level that was busy but closed at 9:00pm so we did not have any issues with noise - unfortunately, our plans did not permit us to dine or have drinks while we stayed. The location is convenient and we plan to return to stay at The Maridor and explore the Grandin Village shopping/restaurant area.

Beautiful old house made it a charming place to stay for a night. The restaurant at the inn made it super convenient. There were also a few shops and restaurants just a 10 min walk down the street. The rose room was large and cozy. There were conveniences including a mini fridge and Kerig in the room as well as in the reading nook, along with a microwave. The main challenge was the water temperature in the shower. It took a while for it to heat up and the water was very hot without a way to adjust. Due to the older pipe configuration it wasn’t very clear and after trying everything the temperature didn’t change. But not the end of the world and everything else was great!
