Situated two blocks from the CBD is Blue Wren Cottage is a picturesque Victorian worker's cottage in a peaceful garden. The cottage comfortably sleeps 5 people with a Queen Size bed, a King Single and 2 single beds populating its 3 bedrooms. A sunny dining room and comfy lounge room offer relaxation while the new kitchen will encourage even reluctant cooks. Queen's Park, a sour dough bakery, coffee roasters, organic butcher and the Farmer's and Craft Markets are all within an easy stroll

Jennifer and Sandy were very responsive to messages and any queries we had prior to booking and also during our stay. The property was easy to find and easy to gain entry to. Whilst reasonable basic, the accommodation had everything we needed for our stay. Walking distance to shops and lovely cafes/bakery’s. The only downside we encountered was that our clothing etc got quite damp during our stay after the amazing amount of rain we had during our stay! Thanks to Jennifer and Sandy for your hospitality.

We enjoyed blue wren cottage very much, it suited us and Monty the dog! Private yard and quiet neighbours. Hosts are very friendly and relaxed.

The neighbourhood is generally very safe and friendly but Toowoomba has had some opportunistic crime waves in recent years particularly focused on car theft similar to that across the state where young people appear to be thrill seeking. Best to always look all doors even during the daytime and park your car beside the house, off the road with the gate closed.
Parking is easy as we are just on the edge of the restricted parking area. You can easily park on the street or, if you choose, off the street in the yard on the Northern side of the house where there is easily room for two or three cars.

I live in Toowoomba with my husband Sandy. We have two daughter's Margot and Alexandra who are now young adults in their twenties. They are no longer living at home. We are now both retired and enjoy sharing our properties with guests through AirBNB.
