On behalf of my family a sincere thank you to Catherine and Matt for hosting us over a memorable Easter break. Spectacular views greet you from every corner of this fantastic property. Every thought has been put into making this home a space to nurture wellbeing and peace. Ilfracombe is a short (downhill) walk so be prepared for the walk back - however it is very much worth the effort and with secure off street parking there is never a concern on the return parking spot. We could not be happier or more grateful for the welcome extended to us all - thank you again

We had an amazing stay at Catherine and Matt’s place. It had stunning ocean views and was brilliantly located to walk into the town centre. It also served as great base for a short drive for day trips to some beautiful beaches and quaint towns. We would love to come back one day!

If we could give ten stars we would!! Catherine and Matt’s home is stunningly beautiful at every turn - from the outside seating areas ensuring you have 360 sunshine and sea views to the creativity and perfection of the inside at every twist and turn. The space has been so wonderfully thought out with house plants complimenting every nook and cranny, perfect lighting in the day and night, incredibly comfy bed and linen (with yet more stunning sea views!) and a fantastically equipped kitchen. A walk down to the harbour is a 10 min stroll where you can find everything you need - we ended up buying fresh seafood from S & P fish shop every night and enjoying on the terrace at the house - sunset was too good to miss!! Stunning location with beaches within a short drive. We were extremely lucky with beautiful weather, but I can imagine in the cooler months it would still be a gorgeous cosy space to switch off and enjoy everything this stunning property has to offer. A wonderful property that is highly recommended. The sea views are spectacular with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy them from. Inside the property was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want and a relaxing atmosphere. Off street parking also a benefit on a secure drive. The host was easily contactable and friendly. Thank you Catherine and would most definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful week in Ilfracombe staying in this very special house. It really is out of the ordinary and a very peaceful and relaxing space. Beautiful gardens and stunning views from almost every window. We had fun playing ping pong, eating meals on the terrace whilst watching the sun set and cosying up by the fire. The beaches are beautiful too. Broadsands and Woolacombe especially lovely. Catherine was the perfect host and always thoughtful and responsive. So much love and care has been poured into this house and it really shows; it was a home away from home 💚
