Cambria Cottage is a bespoke two bedroom home nestled in the idyllic foothills of Buchan. She is centrally located close to the iconic Buchan Caves and Buchan Pub. Cambria Cottage is a hidden gem in the township of Buchan. Our beds look out onto leafy canopies of oak and maple trees. She is warm and cozy, with everything you need to feel deeply rested. A warm fire pit is provided to laze away the evenings with a glass of red under dark night skies. She really is a place to reconnect with nature and your loved ones.

Cambria Cottage is a really quaint well styled cottage, that had everything we needed for a nights stay. Beds were really comfy, and the bottle of wine and chips, chokkies were appreciated by all. Thanks for having us guys.
Our stay at Cambria was just AMAZING! From the moment we walked in, we were in awe of how beautifully kept the property was. It felt extremely cosy and with a spacious back yard, was exactly what we needed to relax! The property it very close to many of Buchans attractions and located in an extremely convenient spot. Paul and Kirsty were magnificent hosts! Very easy to communicate and extremely friendly and helpful! I definitely will be returning here if we are in Buchan again! A++
This is a beautiful cottage that has obviously been loved and cherished by the hosts. No detail was overlooked to make our stay welcoming and relaxing- from the high end bath and bed linen to the thoughtful provision of spare toothbrushes. A wonderful stay and well with the money
We stayed 3 nights & found the cottage extremely comfortable, quiet and with everything needed for self-catering. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrobes and towels luxurious and thoughtful treats very much appreciated. The decor is lovely and exactly as depicted. We especially appreciated how understanding and responsive Kirstie and Paul were when we needed to alter our original booking.

Buchan is quiet town nestled in the foothills of a unique limestone valley, surrounded by farmland and untouched wilderness.
The town was originally called Bukan-Mungie by the Aboriginal people, the Gunai-Kurnai, meaning ‘the place of rocks with holes in them.’
The Buchan Caves are world renowned and an underground hidden gem, full of spectacular formations. The Reserve is home to an array of beautiful deciduous trees and a sight to see in Autumn.
Heading up the valley north of Buchan you will find more highlights such as the Little River Gorge and the historic Suggan Buggan schoolhouse.
We are remote and wild. While Buchan can be accessed by public transport (bus) it is best accessed by car. This provides more flexibility to explore the local area.
Parking is easy in most areas of the Main Street but does become busy during peak times.
Be aware that the only mobile coverage is Telstra so make sure you print or screenshot instructions, the house manual and lockbox code.

Kirstie and I look forward to hosting you. Kirstie grew up in Butchers Ridge, north of Buchan, so it has always been home to her. We later moved to Buchan in 2012 after a series of synchronistic events, and we are in the process of lovingly restoring a beautiful old homestead called Grandview. In 2019 we started hosting campers at this property. Our love of hosting saw us purchase Cambria Cottage in 2022. We have the belief that Buchan and the valley further north is a place is to be shared. It really is a hidden gem. We love where we live and hosting travellers is our way of sharing the beauty of the Buchan and surrounding valleys. We have loved travelling from the day we met, whether it was on mountain bikes in Spain, motorbikes in the outback or in the high country in our Troopy.
