Our group stayed the weekend in Kat'place during our fall trip to Galena. And this place was a really nice overnight stop for us as it was in a really convenient location and distance from Galena and surrounded with amazing scenic roads leading up to the house. The house was spacier than it looked from the photos, and it was super clean when we got there. Both kids and adults enjoyed the game room very much, and we all had a lot of fun during the stay. Kat was an amazing host where she was clear with all the instructions and was very responsive with any questions we had. Anyone who is planning to visit around Galena will have a great time in this place, just like we did!

Great stay at Kat's place -- from start to finish exceptional communication, helpful info, updates and the place itself is absolutely lovely. We came into town for a wedding and the house was very clean, comfortable (lovely mattresses!) and fully stocked with all amenities (like a last minute thought for an iron and ironing board!). Kitchen was fully stocked (and loved the little thoughtful touches like labels in drawers/cabinets). Kids loved all the wonderful games they had --and the basement became their hangout spot. Even spotted a deer in the backyard! Exceptional experience...if we're back in town we'll be staying here again no doubt. Thank you for Kat for being a 5 star host!

This house was big but cozy and nestled in a beautiful area. It is definitely setup for multiple families to stay comfortably. We greatly appreciated device chargers in every bedroom, soap at every sink, lots of towel hooks in every bathroom, and fully stocked showers. Our family goes to Galena every year in October. This year, our daughters each brought a friend along. They enjoyed having their own bedroom space and begged to stay in your house again next year. We all loved being there!

We the only reason I didn’t give her 5 stars was the WiFi door lock didn’t work a couple times. But she was very responsive and helpful with getting us back in the house.
