The home offers over 4,300 square feet of living space tailor-made for families, larger groups and entertaining. Six bedrooms, four with ensuites and five full bathrooms in all. Large open gathering spaces for dining, resting, reading, boardgames on the main floor. Entertainers show kitchen is complete with island, and suite of SS appliances including double oven, fridge, freezer, wine fridge, microwave, espresso machine and dishwasher. Spice kitchen houses the gas cooktop second sinks and dishwasher and is where you can also prep with limitless modern countertop appliances including air fryer, Instapot, Vitamix, KitchenAid stand mixer. The family room is adjoined to the kitchen and walks out to the backyard patio with lounge seating, fireplace and outdoor dining. Enjoy views and sunset lit dinners from the formal dining room and living room. Adventure awaits outdoors with a three hole putting green, Springfree Trampoline, laneway access to the neighbouring and expansive Quilchena Park and Arbutus Greenway for biking and walking to major sites around Vancouver. Enjoy entertainment in the basement with Theatre Room, Music Room, Foosball table, Basketball arcade game, bar and drink fridge. For your year-round comfort, air conditioning is provided in the warm summer months along with radiant heating and three gas fireplaces in the cool of winter.

Our family party of 8 had a wonderful time in Vancouver. The house was even better than the description and photos. It was beautiful and comfortable complete with every necessary amenity. The neighborhood is safe and quiet but also conveniently located within driving distance to all the Vancouver landmarks. The house has plenty of street parking and is close to grocery stores and restaurants. Charlene was very responsive and left a guide in the house with directions on how to work everything in the house as well as dining and activity recommendations. I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a safe , comfortable , big house.
There is only good things to say.. no negatives This is an amazingly beautiful and comfortable house with a wonderful layout where each could have their own space . There is lots to do here for kids as well. It worked so well for us and our extended family.
Fantastic home with great gathering areas and well laid out bedrooms for our intergenerational family stay. Wonderful for relaxing and hanging out together, but also good location (best with a car) to explore the city. Neighbourhood is very quiet and in an area with easy-to-access green spaces. Kitchen is well stocked for making meals and the air conditioning was welcome during our stay. Definitely felt more like a home than a rental. Charlene is a responsive and helpful host.
Charlene’s home is beautiful, spacious and comfortable, and the location can’t be beat. We loved how quiet and peaceful the neighborhood is, yet it’s a short drive or walk to local restaurants and shops. Charlene is an incredibly responsive host and answered all of my questions immediately. The backyard is to die for! My son loved playing on the putting green. Perfect house for a family with children.
Everything is perfect! It’s great for big family. We had 9 togethers and we occupied all 5 bedrooms and each of us had our own bathrooms. Not to mention the wonderful backyard. The area is peaceful and elegant. Highly recommend for family travelling.

The Shaughnessy neighbourhood is beautifully maintained with larger historic, and new, homes. Stunning landscaping. Tree lined streets, Very walkable and flat. It also tends to be quieter with minimal vehicle or foot traffic. Neighbouring our home is Quilchenna Park, one of the largest green spaces on the west side of Vancouver from which to view incredible evening sunsets. Walking 10 minutes from the home along the quaint and floral lined Arbutus Greenway will take you to either of the shopping + dining districts of Kitsilano or Kerrisdale. Vancouver's top attractions including Granville Island, Kitsilano Beach, Queen Elizabeth Park, Van Dusen Gardens, trendy Main Street, South Granville and Robson Street are all within a 10 minute drive.
Our neighbourhood is quieter than most with street parking available as well as garage parking for one vehicle provided. Plentiful Ubers and Lyfts are the easiest way to get around Vancouver. The city also has a modern - if modest - subway system, the SkyTrain, with three lines mainly serving neighbourhoods to the east and south of downtown. The nearest station to our home is the King Edward station at Cambie, from here you could Uber or Taxi your way to our home in under 5 minutes. The SeaBus passenger ferry provides a convenient way to access the North Shore suburbs from downtown should you wish to go visit there for the day.
