My second stay at Sue's beautiful cottage in Shaftesbury. Sue is a great host - welcoming and friendly, so much so that I feel I have known her for years. Always a comfortable nights sleep - lovely cotton sheets and pillows and the sound of birdsong in the morning when I opened the window. A beautiful breakfast of fresh fruit, granola, yoghurt and croissants for breakfast with a pot of tea - perfect. Thanks again Sue. I look forward to returning again before too long.

It was a real pleasure to stay with Sue at her lovely house. She lives close to the centre of Shaftesbury and the famous Gold Hill was only two minutes' walk away. By the end of my visit I felt like an old friend as we had shared so much great conversation. The bedroom was roomy with a comfortable bed and bathroom just across the landing -- and Sue took pains to make sure the breakfast was just as I like it. I felt able to come and go as I liked -- chatting with her now and then, staying solitary if I had things to do. She gave me tea and a brownie on arrival and offered food and snacks at regular intervals. I really can't thank Sue enough for making my visit to Shaftesbury so relaxing and easy.

Staying with Sue in her beautiful cottage was incredibly peaceful and welcoming in equal measure. Her home has a lovely aura, enchanting and homely. Sue herself is incredibly likeable, interesting and we had a lot of laughs. I am sure we could have chatted nonstop for hours. It is in a beautiful location, nestled between other characterful cottages. My room was cosy with a really comfortable bed, tea making facilities, and lots of information about places to visit in the area. I would love to return to her beautiful cottage someday. Thank you Sue for being so welcoming - I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Sue is probably one of the best airbnb hosts in the country. i have no sensation of being lodged but rather staying over at a relative. She s warm, smiley and looks after you. She changes your stay to the positive and i just wish there were more Sues around not only as hosts in this web but in the planet. all the very best :))
