The apartment is illuminated with a nice balcony and a useful extra room that served us as a study/office successfully. The interior design of the apartment is also very nice and efficient. The location is great, in a walking distance from the beach, Punta Carretas, Parque Rodo etc. The owner of the house is a very nice and kind person but he does not live in Uruguay, so the apartment is managed by a company. The contact with different employees of the company is ok but not as smooth as with one owner that knows the place and can immediately solve problems. The most outragous issue was the policy of this company to give the tenants only one set of towels and linen so we had to buy an extra set ourselves for a more than three months stay. We have already rented dozens of apartments through Airbnb for 12 years and never encountered this shortage of towels and linen that obliges the tenants to buy them. I hope that the company change this policy for the benefit of other customers.

Gostamos muito de nos hospedar desse apartamento, estava tudo muito limpo, organizado e equipado. Tivemos apenas que solicitar um varal de chão e prontamente fomos atendidos. A localização é excelente, próximo dos pontos turístico, supermercados, shopping, hospitais e restaurantes. Se você tiver um carro, sugerimos colocar em um estacionamento, na região, encontramos dois, mas terá que considerar isso na sua decisão.

I want to thank you for a pleasant stay at your Airbnb. The apartment was clean and tidy, and I particularly appreciated the convenience of the dishwasher, bright bedroom, and the study. Although there were a few minor inconveniences such as small water heating boiler, and limited heating, they did not overshadow the overall positive experience. The nearby stores for groceries, cosmetics, and household goods were convenient. I would gladly recommend your Airbnb to others.
