Cathy's place looked exactly like the photos. It was very clean and accommodating. It felt great being able to use the kitchen to cook food and then eat at the dining room table overlooking the Rock River. The sunrises were nothing short of spectacular. Also, the outside space is nicely set up to enjoy the hopefully great weather. However, there are a couple of things that weren't that great that I believe could be improved upon to make this a truly 5 star rating. Mainly, I wish that there had been photos posted of the driveway..It's really steep and could be difficult for people with larger cars and/or disabilities. Also, there was an insect problem that I guess had just popped up due to spring. All in all, a great place to stay with the many welcoming touches inside the house. Cathy herself was very friendly and flexible with our check in/check out.

The house is lovely !! Beautiful surroundings & private area. The inside was spotless & appeared as described. I love the open windows to be able to see the lake. Cathy was very accommodating & responsive. I will definitely be staying again. Relaxing get away to unwind after work .

We had a fantastic weekend get away at Cathy’s. The inside of the house was beautiful, cozy and up to date. It had everything we needed to cook multiple meals. The backyard patio area was beautiful and relaxing with a peaceful view of the Rock River. We sat by the campfire and enjoyed the tranquil environment. We can’t wait to go back!

Word can’t describe the wonderful weekend stay we had a Cathy’s home. It was the perfect getaway we needed! The view of the river while sitting with the fire pit going was incredible and so peaceful. The home was beautiful and clean and it had all the things we needed. I can’t recommend this place enough and all the joy it brought us. Cathy even welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine. We couldn’t stop talking about how lovely every detail was. It’s a dream home and a dream stay! Thank you Cathy!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cathy’s beautiful cabin in Edgerton. It was clean, cozy, & very comfortable. Cathy did a wonderful job of stocking the essentials we needed for a stress free stay. We felt right at home and had everything we needed for our family. The location was private, beautiful, and quiet. The river views are breathtaking! The dock was perfect for fishing. We enjoyed the firepit and even had everything we needed to grill on the deck. It was peaceful and relaxing. Cathy was an amazing host! She was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Check-in and out was simple and smooth. She even went above and beyond taking the initiative to move the cleaning supplies out of reach of our toddler before we arrived. We will definitely be staying again!
