The Moonstone was overall a comfortable stay in the Hocking Hills area - conveniently located near Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs and Old Man's Cave area. It was modern and well decorated. Beds were comfy and the hot tub and outdoor space were great. So nice after a long day of hiking. The driveway is a bit tricky, so I'd recommend a 4wd vehicle. We did have an issue getting the gas stove lit and reached out to Angel for help - although we still had trouble with getting the stove lit, Angel was very responsive. The kitchen was decently stocked, however it lacked potholders and dish towels, as well as cooking basics like oil, but there were some spices. I picked up some oil at Young's Family Market and left it for the next guests. Also plan to bring sandwich bags, tin foil, saran wrap etc. if you plan to cook or bring food on hikes. In general, I felt the cabin could have been a bit cleaner - we found some used wash cloths in the bedroom/bathroom and bits of food in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay. It was easy to have two little kids here. We would stay again.

We had four couples for a group retreat and the the house was fantastic. Great space for eating and relaxing. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. Would highly recommend and stay there again.
