We had a great time at "Grandma's Trail house" --we celebrated a belated family Christmas and NY Eve and the large space accommodated our large group. The Pros: it had all that we needed for kitchen supplies and most all the bedrooms had their own bathroom, so lots of space to spread out! It was decorated really cute for Christmas, which was super fun and charming! If you're using the trail or want to be downtown--the location is SUPER! The Cons: The main living area, kitchen and main dining area are up a steep flight of stairs and there are some steps into the kitchen and also a few of the bedrooms--hard if there are any mobility issues in your group! Also, being that it is an older home, some rooms were warm and others quite chilly (our stay was in Dec/Jan). A space heater was provided, but each time we tried to use it, it blew a circuit!

The upstairs space is roomy and has great double-bed rooms for up to 12 people. We found everything we needed on site, and the location provides easy access to the Root River Trail - it's just a few yards away. The town is walkable and offered plenty of activities, history, and live music including a string quartet. We also took in the Owl Center in Houston, the Eagle Center in Wabasha, and shopping in nearby towns.

Great location, nice roomy home with large, well stocked kitchen allowing our family to cook together. They thought of everything! They were responsive and helped us with things to do in the area.

Laneboro is a fun town. The property is located right in the heart of everything. If you have a big group looking for a perfect location, this is it.

This was our second time staying here - loved it! Already booked for next year. Great location, bike storage, full kitchen. Hosts are very responsive and delivered dish soap when I noted it was running low. Definitely recommend!
