This place was perfect for our little minimoon. Close to Harper's Ferry and Charles Town. Tons of wineries and a few breweries within a short drive. We had a great time hiking and exploring the area during the day then relaxing on the patio and in the hot tub in the evenings. the place itself was clean and well stocked with all the random kitchen items you need to cook, but forget (or don't feel like packing) for a trip. think condiments, cooking oil, spices, etc. the last few roads getting there can be a little confusing but Dave provided detailed directions which got us there with no trouble, even in the dark.

We enjoyed our stay at Dave's lovely place immensely. We appreciated all the natural beauty, peace, quiet and the ease of of our stay. Our hosts thought of everything that might be needed to be comfortable with no worries. And such a comfortable bed! We're very grateful for our time at Dave's. The only thing that was a bit off putting was the amount of work we were asked to do upon closing the house with such specific directions (stripping the bed, etc.) plus an extra early check out time - but the place was such paradise & so sensitively thought out for our stay, it's a small price to pay. It's a true joy & absolutely lovely and peaceful.

We enjoyed every moment. It was everything we expected and some. We like to cook and had everything we needed. The location was private, quiet and beautiful. The house is comfortable and homely.

Very cute cottage with scenic views and very peaceful atmosphere. We absolutely loved the hot tub with the adorable bistro lights. Lodging was as described. It’s a great spot for a couple or small family. Very intimate space without a lot of privacy so I agree with others that you want to be mindful of who you are traveling with. It was perfect for a romantic getaway! Very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was! Extremely neat, clean, and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend. Hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful. :)
