On a 7-acre farm in the heart of Prince Edward County, the Taylor-Davey Guesthouse awaits your stay. Nestled between field and forest, our fully renovated 100-year-old guesthouse offers you rural stillness with a modern-rustic vibe. We are your home away from home as you explore all that the County has to offer. All of our bedrooms have their own 3-piece ensuite. The kitchen features an original tin ceiling, with a dedicated coffee bar, 8-foot kitchen island (with pull-up stools), double sink, microwave, dishwasher, and full-sized fridge (with icemaker and water supply). For kitchen connoisseurs, it also features a full double-oven and a 4-burner induction stovetop, so get ready to discover your inner chef! The dining room is combined with the kitchen and has an 8-seat custom harvest table, made from reclaimed barnboard. It also features a sitting nook. An oversized living room with lots of space to relax and unwind. The living room includes a small desk area. Off the living room are large french doors that lead to a large deck and sitting area so you can easily enjoy relaxing both indoor and outdoor. For something in-between, there is a screen-in 3-season porch. There is also a powder room on the main floor. We offer 4 bedrooms (up to 8 adult guests), each with its own distinct style. and their own three piece ensuite. Our rooms feature Endy mattresses, pillows, and sheets. For additional privacy and security, our bedrooms also have keyless door locks. We also offer two complimentary guest passes (good for two vehicles) to Sandbanks and can assist you with you booking your beach visit. Door to Shore in under 15 minutes!

Had a lovely stay! The farmhouse has been renovated beautifully, very clean and stylish with that rustic flare. Lovely property to explore and very close to Sandbanks. Close to all the wineries as well if you go for a tour! Dave is an excellent host and readily available if you need help with anything. We celebrated a birthday weekend here and were able to bring our dogs who loved running about the property

We had a wonderful stay at David’s place. It was extremely clean, fully equipped kitchen (the coffee selection was unbelievable) even a welcoming couple of bottles of wine from local wineries which were amazing! David was very friendly and helpful throughout and ensured we had everything we needed. The bedrooms are very large with nice big attached bathrooms. There’s even a bedroom on the main level which was very appreciated as one couple in our group have difficulty with stairs so this is an added bonus. The kitchen was perfect and lovely to cook in with the double ovens and everything you need to prepare a meal. The table is nice and big for a large group as was the living room area. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and would go back anytime! Thank you David for helping to make this such a memorable occasion!

I would absolutely recommend staying at David’s place after a day of trotting around the County. It’s quiet and secluded, yet close enough to everything that wine tours will pick you up, and restaurants will deliver. We enjoyed the sunset over a big open field, sat around the huge kitchen table and chatted, listened to owls at night, and, best of all, we each had our own private ensuite bathroom. We all had a wonderful night’s sleep in comfy, clean beds, and hit the ample coffee bar hard in the morning. David as a host was SO generous and thoughtful. 10/10!
