This was a great private getaway for us. We went to Toccoa Falls GA first on the way and it was an easy 30-40 min drive from there. After checking in we went to Greenville, SC and it was an easy drive that was less than hour to downtown. The great thing about this location is that you are less than 10 mins off I-85 at Exit 2 just over the SC border from GA so you can get to alot place fairly easily from here. It was a quick trip for us but we would highly recommend it. We did not get a chance to go on the lake but some other visitors brought kayaks and went out fishing. There is dock on the property that is available for use by the guests, so it would be a good place to tie up a boat if you launch somewhere on the lake. It is also in a private cove but the open main waters of the lake are just around the corner. You can almost see the entrance to the cove when you cross off I-85 into SC from GA over Lake Hartwell. Jack was very responsive to our requests and it was a great value.

Beautiful home and view, peaceful and relaxing. Jack is a great host, very responsive and the instructions made everything easy. He even left an anniversary gift for us in the room. If you're looking for a quiet getaway this is the perfect place. I would definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed a restful night at this Airbnb. Jack was an excellent host, sending clear and detailed instructions on how to find the location (these worked really well), meeting us on arrival and the amount of attention to detail made us feel very welcome and at home... much appreciated after a of transatlantic flight and driving from Atlanta. The variety of birds that we were able to watch while we had breakfast on the patio was amazing. We were able to identify most, but had to Google a few! We've already booked our next stay.

My wife and I stayed for her birthday weekend and couldn't have been happier. First, for the location the price is AMAZING!!!! This is easily a $400/nt. view, probably more if I'm being honest. The room and common area are extremely well stocked with everything you'd need to have an amazing stay. Jack, the owner, was super communicative and responded to every one of my messages in minutes. We've traveled all around the world and I'd still rank this place in the top 10. It's beautiful, clean, quiet, accomodating, peaceful and so much more. Not only can I not recommend this place enough, I've already looked at dates to book my next stay. Since I live about 30 minutes away I have a feeling this will become a secret weekend getaway for my wife and I.
