Thanks for a great stay! There was some difficulty with the shower and Sam was super responsive and patient with us- we were out for the day and got it sorted but i was impressed with his helpfulness. Would stay again.

Sam’s place is right in the action of North Fitzroy, yet on a lovely quiet street. 2 min walk to cafes, restaurants, supermarket and tram. The house is clean and cute, and the beds were super comfy. Will come back.

Gorgeous house, lovely neighbourhood. From the moment we stepped in it felt like home & that only grew as we explored the area & ate (too many) excellent pastries! The local IGA was exceptional for items too. Sam is a great host & was quick to respond to the 2 questions we had. This will be #1 choice when we come back to Melbourne

Location was perfect. Quiet, but close enough to walk to restaurants, shops, public transport, parks. Didn’t need a car. A parking permit was provided. Lovely supermarket, Piedimontes, was nearby which had everything we needed. Lots of thoughtful things provided in the house such as washing powder, detergent, toilet rolls. Lots of books. Plenty of good quality cooking equipment. Beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows and cushions. The house is naturally cool in hot weather due to the style of house. We did have to use the air con for a little while when we were in during the 3 days of extreme heat recently and it worked perfectly. Stayed for almost 2 weeks but wish it could have been longer. Would definitely recommend and would rebook if we return to Melbourne.

We were looking for a place that would quickly feel like home and Sam's place definitely fit the criteria. Very comfortable and cosy, but didn't feel at all cramped. The huge gum tree in the neighbour's yard provides a stunning backdrop out the back. Great selection of books too. We would stay again. Loved the Fitzroy North area.
