Enjoy this centrally located, attached guest suite for your visit to southern Vancouver Island. Great space for a work trip or long weekend getaway. This quiet, peaceful suite offers a king sized bed, 3-piece bath, kitchenette, outdoor garden seating & BBQ. A 5-minute drive to downtown Duncan, craft breweries and award-winning Cowichan wineries nearby. Only 1 hour from either Nanaimo or Victoria. Guests have their own entry with covered parking and washer/dryer. This guest suite is locked off from the main residence. Guests have a roomy entrance with full laundry. Master bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed with cotton linens, and a plush seating area to relax in with a good book or a board game. Both the bedroom and kitchenette have sliding glass doors to let in lots of natural light or fresh valley air. A roomy kitchenette is equipped for all of simple meal needs. The property has a number of mature fruit trees and other flora, and is frequented by variety of birds including resident quails and hummingbirds. Guests may hear our hens from the back of the yard (but not to worry, no rooster!). The backyard has a lot of beauty, but is a work-in-progress/ongoing project.

Kirby’s place was lovely and very comfortable! The suite was spotless and had everything one might need. She was responsive and friendly over text messages. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking about visiting the area.
Beautiful, clean and cozy with gorgeous natural light. Nice to have an outdoor space as well. Felt very private. Definitely recommend.
Was traveling to the Cowichan Valley for a work event and am so glad to have booked here! The location is super convenient for going into Duncan or down to other areas of Cowichan, and is a lovely private and peaceful property with a beautiful backyard area. The place was spotless and cozy, nicely decorated. Kirby was a great host and gave me very clear detailed instructions for finding the place, parking, and getting inside. Would definitely stay again :)
We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and cozy and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable! Well located to access downtown Duncan. Discovered a great new bakery called Hank's that was conveniently located a few minutes drive away!
Such a lovely studio! Really clean and cozy. :) Instructions by Kirby were clear and she answer quickly to my questions. Really nice and relaxing back yard too! ☺️
