Centrally located a stones throw from the CBD, this unique spacious apartment includes two living areas with wrap around verandah, kitchenette and ensuite. Features lovely views across Duck Bay and over the township. Balcony is cloaked with a very old purple wisteria which is spectacular when in flower. Your private entrance features a mini art gallery and Tourism brochure stand. All areas are completely private and not shared including the balcony area. Apartment is also soundproofed. This is a fully contained apartment with a kitchenette in a 1910 federation house in the CBD of Smithton. Bedroom, ensuite, kitchenette and seperate living room. Has two refrigerators one Bar fridge and a larger fridge .Two large screen TVs, one in the lounge area and one in the bedroom.Wi Fi and Netflix. DVDs and extensive library for entertainment. Dedicated work area ,perfect for business travellers. A range of complimentary food and drinks to enjoy during your stay.

Andy and Sally have gone above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience for their guests and make them feel instantly at home. Little Bird was warm and inviting (as were the hosts) beautifully and creatively presented and very clean, with a much appreciated array of tempting nibbles, fruit, breakfast provisions including a great coffee machine and an array of teas, drinks and after-dinner aperitifs. Everything is extremely well thought out with the many additional touches making you feel welcome and cared for. Located right in the heart of Smithton, the fast EV charger was a short walk away, as were supermarkets and restaurants. The North West corner of Tasmania is a little known gem and Smithton is well positioned to enable you to visit many of its charms. We had a great 3 days and have no hesitation in highly recommending Little Bird.
We had a great time at Andy's place. Everything was exactly as described. Although attached to the front of their house it was so peaceful with no noise emanating from the main section of the house. There were more complimentary extras than we have witnessed at any other airbnb - night caps, wine, mixers, choc treats, fruit, biscuits etc. etc. Nothing was too much trouble for Andy and Sally who are happy to be of assistance but not "in your face". Smithton is a great base to explore the whole area and only a 10 minute drive to Stanley. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing few days.
Great local, with lovely homely touches and every amenity thought of
Little Bird is a beautiful air bnb. Lots of space, extremely comfortable king sized bed, great TV with streaming, lots of fabulous provisions, excellent shower. Walk to shops and nice cafe, Hugo’s. Little Bird is more than a place to sleep, it’s a treasure trove of books, art and treats.
Andy and Sally's accommodation and care for guests sets a very high bar. Our arrival was foreshadowed and our welcome splendid. Andy and Sally ensured all our needs and expectations were attended to. The apartment is decorated with flair, relevance and interest. The provision of food and drink is exemplary - it was a pleasure to eat in and partake of the fare provided in the ambience of the lounge room. Thank you Andy and Sally and so well done.
