Rose's place is great. Though we didn't meet her personally, Davis did a splendid job and the staff are very welcoming and committed. I would definitely recommend Rose's place and I would sure visit again if I was in Arusha area

We arrived late at night. Pick up was arranged from Kili airport. The guy was there with a sign and a reliable car. Perfect. Unfortunately the second owner (Davis) of the property on arrival tried to argue that the price for drop off was 15USD (to Arusha airport) even though in communications with Rose we had agreed on 15,000TZS (in writing several times). Were they trying something on? We don't know, but make sure you check all prices (room and pick ups and drop offs) several times in writing so you can refer back to it. They organised an early breakfast for us, a little slow so we had to leave but they were trying. The bed was very large and comfortable, the room good and with a functioning mozzie net. It was perfect for what we needed (an overnight stay in between evening arrival and early morning departure).

I did not have the pleasure to meet Rose but was greeted by her husband Davis who could not have been more welcoming and attentive. Davis really went the extra mile, literally so, as he showed me on my day of arrival the 3km walk (each way) I would do to the place which I was visiting. The location, quite near the Arusha national airport, is not in the centre. This was a real plus for me, but could also be for anyone wanting to avoid the traffic in the centre of Arusha when setting up in the morning for a safari. The place is rather quiet, with not much traffic noise at all. The meals are delicious, and breakfast comes free. As other guests have already said, the bed is super comfortable.
