Endearingly named "Casa Gretna Treehouse," this cottage resides amidst the breathtaking natural wonders of Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania... And it graciously accommodates up to six guests and two dogs, offering a contemporary yet close-to-nature escape. The relaxed and quiet atmosphere here, coupled with medium-firm plush beds fitted with quality sheets (and darkening blinds in each room), guarantees you'll wake up each morning feeling refreshed. This beautiful Mt Gretna cabin rental features two unique living rooms. After a long day of fun, surrender to the embrace of any of the inviting sofas and chairs they provide. Wherever you choose to recline, vast windows greet you, offering glimpses of the lush surroundings that make you feel one with the trees. While television is optional amidst the mountain splendor, two high-definition Smart televisions are available for your entertainment. When it's time for a warm meal or a cup of coffee or tea, you may be blessed with the sight of grazing deer through the kitchen's expansive window. A pair of binoculars rest on the windowsill, ready to satiate your curiosity. From pots, pans, and plates to glassware, utensils, a blender, toaster, toaster oven, crockpot, and every conceivable kitchen tool, this abode caters to your culinary needs. For the little ones, there are sippy cups, tumblers, plastic tableware, and high chairs. A dishwasher, complete with tablets, is at your disposal, along with dish soap, a fresh sponge, a bottle cleaner, and dishcloths if you prefer. The gas range stove gives you the ability to whip up a meal for six or a beautiful brunch to enjoy on the deck or in the dining space. And there's a drip coffee maker, french press, and tea kettle with plenty of coffee, decaf, and teas (both caffeinated and herbal) for your utmost convenience. When you want to enjoy a meal together ... and you will, as we have plenty of times with our own family (our grandmother cooked a delicious traditional Puerto Rican hearty soup for our family on our uncle's birthday here) ... .... there's a lovely wood dining table for you all to share. The dining table seats four, yet there are foldable dining trays in the 1st floor closet (under the staircase) to accomodate more. There's also a charcoal grill with utensils for you to enjoy cooking outside. With plenty of outdoor seating at your disposal. The master washroom has two sinks, comfortable toilet with a bidet, large bath tub, and always has a bath tray & bath bombs for you to unplug, take a nice hot bath, and forget about the world. For your convenience, there is a heater right above the tub so you can step out of the shower feeling warm and refreshed. Body soap, shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, Q tips, dental floss picks, extra toothbrushes, 2 hair dryers, extra toilet paper, and clean towels/wash rags are a few of the amenities you can expect to be provided for you. As you waltz your way down to the first floor, you'll notice a cast iron wood oven. Grab some firewood, a Duraflame log, and matches from any local gas station or grocery store, and cozy up next to it for a truly authentic cabin experience. In this section of the cabin, you have a poker table with a real Hard Rock Casino Las Vegas poker set, Scrabble, Uno! Flip, Pictionary, Heads Up!, Bluetooth Karaoke mic, Scattegories, and about 8 other board games. Be warned: family Uno! games can get quite heated when Aunt Jackie gets multipe +2's stacked on her! Jokes aside, the TV in this area is fitted with a Roku and a vintage Super Nintendo with over 600 games for your enjoyment. There’s also a bar with a cocktail kit, beer pitcher, wine & shot glasses, and a mini fridge to keep your beverages ice cold. And beside the bar are beach chairs, beach mat, floaty, cooler, a beach bag, and speaker to take with you to the lake. Beside the bar is a high efficiency washer and dryer so you can take home clean laundry with you. Detergent is made readily available to you. And there is also a half bathroom with hand soap and plenty of toilet paper here. As well as a space heater, dehumidifier, and clothes drying rack if you choose to use them. Overall, the house is decorated with throw pillows and blankets, lighting fixtures, plants, art work, and books. There are travel guides, cookbooks, history books, and novels everywhere. Titles by Ernest Hemingway, Louisa May Alcott, Neil Gaiman, David Baldacci, Suzanne Collins, William Shakespeare, and plenty more classics. In the master bedroom there are a number of children books and nighttime stories for the kiddos. And throughout, you'll enjoy fast Wifi at an excellent 800 Mbps - suitable for everyone's devices. Stepping outside, you will have a 3-4 seater hot tub in a screened sun room with plenty of seating around so the whole family can enjoy time together, with ash trays for smokers. The cabin sits on nearly an acre of raw wilderness begging for you - or your furry companion - to explore. We love dogs, and we understand how hard it can be to travel when you have to leave your furry friends at home. Everything was amazing here. I was looking for a place where I was surrounded by nature and I got exactly what I wanted. There’s a lot of pride to put into this Airbnb. I’m grateful I got to stay here.
Great communication from start to finish. Very understanding when I realized I forgot to leave the parking passes. I mailed them back so they would not have to replace. Great location if you’re visiting Hershey and want peace and quiet.
My family and I had a wonderful time! The views are gorgeous, and close enough to Lancaster County & Hershey.. our spring break was fantastic and everyone was happy. We especially appreciated the small details- the coffee, snack tray and the toothbrushes.. of course a few of us forgot to pack one, but no fear- Danny & Joey's thoughtfulness saved the day! Highly recommend these hosts & this property 👍🏻
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Danny and Joey were extremely responsive and the property was clean and located in peaceful surroundings. If we return to the area, we would definitely stay here again if available!
My wife and I were looking for a peaceful weekend retreat and Danny and Joey’s place provided exactly that. Very secluded but not too much of an isolated feel. Their place was very clean and well equipped with all the necessary essentials. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was spectacular and hassle free. I would definitely book with them again and I highly recommend them to anyone that’s looking for peace, quiet and privacy.

A bit of Mount Gretna history - provided by the Mt Gretna Historical Society:
"Mt. Gretna was born in a forest of chestnut trees that for more than a century provided charcoal to the Cornwall Furnace that once forged cannons for George Washington’s army.
"The site was discovered in 1883 as a pleasant place to spend a summer day along the extinct Cornwall and Lebanon Railroad linking the Reading Railroad in Lebanon with the Pennsylvania Railroad near Elizabethtown.
"Of late, Mt. Gretna has become known in the region as a center for arts and culture and increasingly as a desirable place to live, especially for those who wanted to participate in its artistic activities, but also those who had discovered its other virtues during a visit to the Playhouse or the Art Show.
"Many Gretna residents serve on one or more of the boards that guide each section of the community and the performing groups, and most volunteer to help at the Art Show which brings thousands of visitors and vital economic support to Mt. Gretna.
"These activities give the community an identity far stronger than most other communities of similar size and make it a desirable place to live."

自我介绍
We’re two brothers who love sharing Mt. Gretna with people looking to enjoy nature, relax, and play. We live in the cabin sporadically throughout the year, and privately open it to guests when we're not there. We bought this house on 2/23 after our father passed in November with an inheritance he left behind for us. He loved Mt Gretna. You will too. Thank you for helping us honor his legacy & multiply his final blessing by staying with us.
