I cannot say enough good things about Simona’s place. Firstly, she was amazing about corresponding with us before we arrived. Then, she and her brother met us at the bottom of the stairs to assist with our luggage and show us how to get to our place. While they are a lot of stairs, the view and house is so worth it! Simona and Alessio where kind enough to start out stay out with a bottle of champagne and some bus tickets! The house was beautiful and large. We had plenty of room to spread out! Lots of outdoor space and the view was like something from a movie! We had the best time relaxing in the hot tub and just watching all the boats out in the sea. The area was also great- only about a 15 minute walk to a grocery store and quite a few restaurants nearby. The public transit is great to use but can get busy. Luckily, Simona and Alessio were so helpful about transportation. Staying here was truly the highlight of our trip. Hope to be back one day!

Simona is the most helpful accommodating & thoughtful host. She made sure from the beginning that we were safely transported & checked in without a hitch. Her place has quite the climb but it's worth the view. I'm grateful for Simona as a host to share her beautiful place but also save us a couple times from getting stranded at different locations & being taken advantage of by taxis over charging. Public transportation is so easy once you figure it out which is the hard part but Simona made everything easy. Thank you Simona & Alessio!

My partner and I recently stayed at Simona’s accommodation for 7 nights. Leading up to us arriving in Italy, Simona got in touch with us and offered to arrange a taxi, activities, etc to make our trip easy. On our request, she arranged a taxi from Salerno train to the accommodation at a very compatible price so our journey started swimmingly thanks to her. When we arrived at the accommodation, her family was already waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs just so they help with our luggage and we didn’t need to go up the stairs carrying heavy suitcases ourselves. The whole family was wonderful and very helpful. I addition, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Just looking at the beautiful sea from the hot tub was in itself a very relaxing activity to unwind ourselves after being out doing stuff all day. There were a few times we were in desperate need of help, Simona never hesitated to assist us. We’re very grateful for her top notch hospitality and can’t wait to stay there again.

Stayed 3 nights and I wish we could have stayed much longer to really take advantage of how amazing this place is. It must be common because the kitchen is still literally brand new! Very spacious, clean, and although you are up and away from the main towns there are two great restaurants within 10-15 min walking. There’s also taxis or a bus that can get you up and down the hill as well (tip: if you are renting a car get the smallest one possible, roads are tight). As others mention there are over 200 steps up from the road which could be tough for some (pack light!) but it is so worth the view, and the neighborhood is safe and friendly. Last but definitely not least, the hosts are a brother and sister who are so awesome. They team up to make sure you have a comfortable stay and if there was an award for best hosts they’d deserve it for sure. A special thank you to Alessio and Simona, we hope to be back someday asap!

This was one of the best air bnbs I have ever stayed at! There are amazing views everywhere of the ocean and amalfi coast. Simona was extremely helpful in the check in process and helped us with our bags. She answered all of our questions and gave us contact information for scooter rentals and transportation with in amalfi.
